Default Broke Dick racing cages?

http://shop.brokedickracing.com/03-0...0Z_c_8327.html

Anyone ever run a cage kit from these guys? I have heard good things about them from other car communities. This is news to me, but they seem to have really good pricing for a weld in kit.

While I've never heard of Broke dick before, but looking at the attachment, I'm not impressed. The most expensive cage at $574 is designed for SCCA, NASA and drift use. But the door bars are more like what I've seen in Autopower bolt-in cages of the past. If you're risking your life in motorsports, it's worth it to have a good custom cage welded in. Make sure the door bars aren't right up against your ribs like the Broke dick roll cages are. Broken ribs are no bueno and not worth a discount in the event of a rollover. Not sure what the specs are for these cages, but I'm already leery after seeing the very basic construction listed. Broke dick, indeed.

My buddy has one in his gutted Neon. Its not that bad of a cage, but I wouldn't put it in a Z. it seems to fit well in his car, hugs the doors nicely. I'd rather spend the extra cash though..

the price is really nothing that exciting for a few bent pipes, sure, they have a jig they follow, but anyone can bend pipes...it's the actual Welding process that matters most.

if you have a crappy fabricator/welder your cage will be useless.
