I am putting roadster seats out of a 2007 into a 2004 coupe. The passenger side seat has power recline for the back, and the coupe, of course, originally did not have this feature. I want to wire it so it works. I have read on this forum about other people doing this successfully but don't know what wires were spliced. Can anyone help? Thanks

Just to clarify, you're taking a power seat out of a 2007 ZR and putting it into a 2004 coupe that has a manual seat?

The 2004 coupe has power seats, just not the power passenger back recline like the roadster does. I'm trying to get that to work. I guess all coupes only had the manual release lever. Thanks for the info, that helps a lot, I think with the FSM pages I can figure out how to wire it.

 

The ZR seat automatically tilts forward when the roof is activated as long as the switch on the back is on. Are you planning to wire it so it automatically tilts forward after receiving some signal? If so, out of curiosity, what are you planning on wiring it to?

 

No, I just want to wire it so the switch on the back has power, and I can tilt the seat forward/backwards
