You guys are killing me!
From what Ive read on this message board, if Im worried about issues with stock engine longevity I shouldnt even bother with FI. Can anyone comment on this?
It is so blatantly obvious our cars weren't built for FI, but if you have a huge supply of greenbacks for modding and don't care about longevity, go for it. Its a no brainer, imo.
Enron, from your sig, it appears that you have small-***** envy

The stock (no FI or other meddling) 350Z engine is practically bomb proof. How many have you heard blowing up while still on warranty? None that I know of. By adding FI you do run the risk blowing the engine if you don't do it right but you have a lot more fun and yes, less money.
