not sure what you are implying, when i went out to the dragstrip, that was my first time EVER racing in a straight line against the clock...and on street tires, i still ran 13.04 @ 114mph...i didn't think that was too bad for my first time there

i have much more experience on road coarse tracks..IMO, that is what REAL racing is about..going in a straight line gets a bit boring, after 5 runs, i was done...
we'll go on a road coarse sometime little MT, there is supposedly one in town, please let me know if you know where it is/ or what days it is open to whomever

Tripp: you can chime in too- you probably know the tracks preety well out here...and, from the looks of it, you will be at the 350z meet at jason's bar, so i'll see you then buddy!

Not sure where you are at in the break in process GoingDeep, but the track should be really happening this Saturday. And the weather finally will cut us a break. Looks to be 70 degrees with no wind....

i'm still amazed how sharif (gq_626) put down close to 500rwhp-actual with only 13lbs of boost!... that really provides a lot of encouragement for just how much our motors will be putting out... definately excited to be driving my built Z! thanks for the kind words

RC Injector Failure

Was supposed to get my car this morning, my luck didn't pan out

one of the RC550 injectors failed...was stuck open, when they attempted to road tune my car last night, it was running w/ one cylinder not firing...they tore it down to inspect...turns out a faulty injector!!!

I was informed that the chances of this happening is next to nothing
I contacted RC in California, they sent out an injector to arrive here tomorrow morning...so, we'll try this again- tomorrow?!

Supposed to dyno on saturday (you guessed it- i'm doing a quick break in)
gonna tune to 12 psi...drive around on that for a week or so, then retune to 15-18 psi

sorry to hear about your injector Todd. Been following your build and glad RC was able to sned you another one. Hopefully we can see some numbers from yours and Ernie's car soon. Almost there bud..
