Ditto. That would be sweet. I want to hear and see more of this before I go this route. Looking good!

are you using the vpro? hks says you'll be lean with a/m breathing mods without the vpro. good luck, and do keep us posted.

after i put the plenum on i am going to dyno it. then if i don't run out of fuel i am going to remove the cats and put the invidia race pipes on and dyno it again.

i am tuning with the sz now(i am an HKS pro dealer). when i run out of fuel i am going to install the v-pro that i have here and 650cc injectors with the fuel return kit.

i am trying to show all steps so people can decide on the hks kit and what they want to go with!

hks says their out of the box kit can't be tuned without the vpro. i guess they are lying to us in order to get us to buy their vpro.

maybe it "shouldn't" be tuned without Vpro.

you are correct there isn't much you can do.

o.k. i installed the Crawford intake plenum and the car now makes 331.21 whp car goes good. although i thought these plenums would net 20whp i am still pleased w/ the results.

so we now have a 331.21whp 2004 350Z 5AT Convertable!

HKS Rotrex w/ F-Con SZ

so are you gradually going the route that tuan did with the hks sc in tuner magazine? vpro and upgraded pulley, fuel pump, injectors, headers, etc?

how much more hp did you get outa the crawford plenum?

i have the kit sitting in my garage waiting to be installd. do you know anyone on the left coast who can do the tweeking you are doing and which hks says can't be done?

what you are suggesting is very exciting, but i have to be careful cuz i live in cali and have to be able to pass inspections come smog recert time.

with my experiences, do not run test pipes on this kit, you will be lean if you do. I just recently replaced my mines test pipes with the stockers, it runs alot smoother(at least sounds smoother). my crawford plenum didnt affect the a/f too much.

anyone know when the 9lb pulley will be out and what will be needed to run it?

how much did your plenum mod affect a/f and hp on the hks kit?
i recently heard from intense that hks has abandoned plans to offer upgrades to this kit for now.

you haven't posted since 8/11/5. Hope you're ok. You're about the only one trying to tune this kit, and i'm sure i'm not the only one who wants to know how things are coming. Please, throw us a bone here, if you can (if you're not dead, hospitalized, or incarcerated).
