Default Vortech Help

Well it's definitely been a while since i last posted. So i've decided to go with the vortech SC. I've read the fuel system that comes with it is a little crappy, so i've decided to go for the tuner version, and buy a walbro pump, some 440 injectors, and perhaps an e-manage ult. Now do you guys reckon that i would be able to get away with the stock injectors, or will they be seriously overworked. I'm not looking for huge power, just around 400 at the crank, but i want it to be super safe and a really conservative tune. What do you guys reckon. Thanks.

The Vortech full kit is perfectly fine for the crank numbers you want. There is no need to do any additional parts.

+1 no need for it . You could have gone with the full kit and been plenty safe .

I don't want to do additional parts. I want to remove some of the bad parts and replace them with something a little better, just for that extra peace of mind. It also means that i will be able to tune the car myself, as i wont be able to find a vortech tuner here in Spain.

If you will not have a tuner . You are for sure better off putting on the stock Vortech kit and leave it as is . The tune from the full kit is safe and you can run it out of the box

Then why does everyone always say to get a tune once you've installed it?

Because it is a very rich and safe tune . You can get more whp out of it , if it is tuned in your area and the A/F is leaned up some .
