Yes, meth will lower your IAT, EGT and increase resistance to detonation so that is the safety part. I think if you have a stock motor then it is nice to have, it is going to help you more to be on the safe side just in case you get some Bad Gas or in a Hot Summer days. Just my 02.

Im a little confused with how the pump can be controlled.
I have the F con Pro, I want to have a progressive system that will flow more as the boost builds. Do I need a seperate controller, or can the F con do that? How do you connect the F con to the pump? Thanks.

I am not familiar with the F con Pro engine management but with a snow stage2 you would have your progressive control of the kit, but if you there is an option on the f con pro to progressive control via boost then you could wire it up to the pump fairly easily. I know people do this with the UTEC.

aem stage II
Found an AEM stage II for 295 delivered on ebay. Also, hear good things about using walmart super tech -20 with a couple of bottles of heet/ walmart brand gasline antifreeze to bring it up to 50/50. Says uctane goes up to about 115 + cooling effects. Can't imagine installing my Vortech without it.

Seriously though, the -20 is a good fluid to start with, as it is about 1/3rd methanol and cheap. Adding 3bottles of Heet (the 80Z bottles) will actually get you to about 55% methanol or so.
