the stock 3.33 pulley uses a 93.5" belt in the old layout. a 3.12 pulley should be fine with a 93" belt or a 93.5" belt if you can tighten it down enough.

the only time i heard about a 93" belt being too tight on a 2.87 pulley is when the additional GTM tensioner pulley is put on the bracket.

from the 2nd post in this thread...
- For the original non-REVUP kit, you want a 93.5 inch belt for the stock 3.33 pulley and you want a 93 inch belt for the 3.12 or 2.87 pulley, though some people have have better luck with slightly smaller belts like 92 and 7/8 inches for the 3.12 or 2.87 pulley. If you try modifying the belt routing like TIMROD1011's design, you'll have to use slightly different belt lengths. I don't remember the belt lengths for the REVUP and new non-REVUP kits...

Well.. since i have the 93" belt already i think im going to buy a 93.5" belt and see which one works better for tuner. they are both from napa so the one i dont need, im going to return and say "they gave me the wrong size" and get an exchange for the correct size as a spare

I'm considering buying the tuner kit and wanted to confirm if this will work with my setup before I take the plunge.

I would like to get just the tuner kit with stock pulley, a walbro 255lph fuel pump, boost and AFR gauges, and an Osiris tune. Will I be okay with the stock injectors?

I have a lot of boltons and want to make sure my fuel system can keep up. My mods right now are:
5/16th ISO spacer
MREV2 lower plenum
DC Sports headers
Berk HFCs
Hi-Power true dual exhaust
Lightened underdrive pullies (I will have to swap for stock size)
Koyo 54mm radiator (I will have to swap radiator or shroud)

Will just the fuel pump and Osiris tune be good enough for 7psi, or will I need larger injectors for this?

Why does the complete kit not require injectors?

The full kit DOES NOT include injectors. You should be fine with the stock injectors if you're using the stock pulley that comes with your kit.

If you have any inkling that you'd want more power, then you should just get a smaller pulley now, upgrade the injectors, and get the super duper HPX MAF sensor (depending on how much power you're going for).

Why would he have boom?? I think upgrading your injectors is a good idea but if he is sticking with the stock pulley that comes with the kit, he should be fine with the stock injectors. The pulley that comes with the kit is designed to work with the stock injectors.

i have my engine torn down for head gaskets. I'ts almost back together. I was messing with my jackshaft and guess what? that sob is rubbing! haha. After checking it multiple times i had no rub, but it's definitely rubbing now. I'll have to mill it down. I've found so many small bs things wrong since i tore this thing down a second time.

I may have missed it, but has anybody ordered the BPV filter setup from Zcargarage? I inquired about it and got the following response from Rob...

"Yes we make a Bypass filter set up that kills most of the annoying noise
genarated by the valve."

I replied asking if I could have one shipped and I have yet to get a response. I would really be interested in this, hoping it kills some of the whistle!

first: yall some bastards taking my car talk and molesting it

ya, it's a pain in the butt. I'm officially boycotting silicone. The builder must have loved it because i shaved 20lbs off of those covers trying to clean it up. Yes, there IS a point of too much RVT. That was the worst part of tearing the block down....scraping all that **** off. I probably have as many hours scraping silicone as i do with all the mechanical stuff.

I'm just nervous to fire it up tomorrow. I swear to got i'm going to slit my wrists if i have a timing cover leak! I can't deal iwth pulling it apart again...lol. Getting that front cover on with the seal at the bottom was hard, i'm hoping i didn't screw it up because i had rvt all over everything when i finally got it into place. That seal just didn't want to stay in place.

I talked to Rob to and he asked me to be patient. He doesn't actually "sell" these things yet.

For now i would keep it on the DL and lets see what happens. I am in the same boat.

Sorry about your car binder... at least you can do the work yourself though.
