What is included in the NX setup for $2700? If you are thinking about nitrous, I would contact Jeremy (Audible Mayhem) or Ryan (98intrigue) @ Performance Factory. They can set you up with everything you need.

5-6k isn't going to get you much when it comes to FI. you might be able to pick up a used TN single turbo kit and get it installed in that price range.

Go for the Nitrous. Your gonna spent ATLEAST $10k for a turbo setup. $25k+ if done properly. So if you just got $5-6k scraped up and don't have $$ for a new motor laying around. FI=not wise.

25k...is not "if done properly" its if done with a build engine

10k and you can do a turbo kit ona stock block the rigth way.

but based on what your requirements are...Nitrouz is better option 4 u

Built engine is 'done proplerly' with the VQ, or any motor not built for boost.

that's were you are wrong. Bad tuning and $hitty quality parts are what lead to improper setups for a stock block or any motor for that fact.

There is a difference between doing things right and pi$$ing money away on items that are not required.

well, different prices for safe tunes to different whp levels. I did my homework on this and found:

"done right" to 380 whp is about $12k (TT kit, gauges, install, tune)

"done right" above 450 whp is about $24k (+built motor +cams +tranny +ECU +exhaust +cooling +extra labor)

"done right" for the track is about $34k (+brakes +wheels +suspension +cage)

Sean2006, my car is at UPREV right now, taking off TN ST and going with fully built engine and Greddy TT. To be honest if you only have 5-6k you need to just use it on your house. Going with a turbo or nitrous kit, is going to cost you. Nitrous much less, but there is still a slim possibility of blowing the engine eventually, with turbo, you will blow it eventually, so you will need to have more money just sitting around for when that happens. UPREV has the best customer support and some really knowledgeable guys working over there. They have had my car for about 4-5 months just toying with it, I wouldn't let them mess with it, if they weren't capable. In Austin they are by far the best shop to take it to, they might seem a little higher at first, but you will see if you have the slightest problems they will take care of you no questions asked.

power wise, didn't you say you wanted a 100 shot? well guess what, you will get around 90-100 more hp, assuming you are only at 225-235 now you do the math. With TN you should have around 365-375, I was around 385-400 but I also have several other small things done.

No, it's safe to assume that I'm sick of you bouncing from thread to threads instigating arguments and taking threads off topic. I could argue this and you would get basically what you want, to stir up the forums. You ARE a roach on these forums, just like you said.

Seriously, you need another hobby. Go build something out of posickle sticks or something, you worthless fa**ot.

Is it a safe assumption to say that you two have had instances in the past where you don't see eye to eye?
