Default Finally, Jonb ATI Procharger dyno sheet @ 14psi

There are two runs posted.. Belt started breaking at about 5k rpm on the 1st run.. I will re-dyno this Saturday.. I should be making about 450whp...

decent numbers!
I'd think more power was possible for being 14 psi. Your sig says 16 psi, so surely more psi/power is possible if you've hit 16 before

too bad about your belt breaking. You seemed to think you solved that from your other thread (https://my350z.com/forum/forced-induction/284981-procharger-alternative-high-boost-applications.html)

look forward to seeing what your ATI can do this sat!

Funny thing is.. The belt that broke wasnt the long one I posted that thread about.. It was the small belt right behind the SC.. I havent figured out how to tighten it more after the belt breaks in.. I have put it to the max of the adjustment bolts..

Also, Im not too keen on hitting 16psi.. I dont want anything to break(tranny), as it wouldnt hit 16psi until about 7200rpm.. My engine can handle 7400rpm though..

I also forgot to tell them to turn off the TCS.. I prob lost 200whp..

The small belt on Vortech's set up doesnt need to be tight . If it is a cog toothed [ timing ] belt , they dont ever need to be really tight . Vortech suggest a 1/2 inch play both ways with its cog belt . I would think all cog belts should be ran with a little play in it .

WTG Jon....get your butt back to SGP and have them tune it. I bet Mark can squeeze another 50-75whp out of her. Any plans for the 18psi pulley?

18psi pulley?? lol.... im having a hard enough time keeping up with the 16psi pulley.. Killing my tires and belts.. Im almost getting the belt KIA down to a minimum.. RE-DYNO is scheduled for this Friday!!!

word? this friday at SGP? Hit me up....I wanna watch. My build is almost done. Waiting on the sleeved block from the machine shop. Heads are already at SGP. Lookout 650whp...here I come.

Might wanna look to see if Gates has a PolyChain belt in the length you need . Its the strongest belt Gates makes . Stronger than the PolyGrip belt .

What brand are the belts you run ?

I am using the Gates GT2 or some ****.. Sounds good.. Ill have to wait on that because Im military and doing alot of **** right now..


Also im sitting on dubs.. I wish i could borrow some stockers to see what it does...

Na bro.. Im doing my dyno locally.. Its called sunshine performance.. Its a DJ as I dont like dynapack numbers and no one on here believes the dynapack numbers to be credible.. lol

Great numbers on the procharger!!! It's good to see that you are happy with your set up and making some serious numbers. Hope you get the belt issue resolved. Is sunshine auto in ktown?

Yea man!! Its right by Killeen Middle school or Killeen HS.. Not sure.. but its on the same road as the Jack in the Box off of Business 190..

Thanks I know exactly where that is. Your car must sound like a chainsaw gone mad. I remember when I had my procharger @ 9lbs it was loud. I miss the NOTHING BUT BUSINESS sound that it makes.
