06 Revups w/ Utec please step in!
Have any of you had any serious issues w/ tunning the Utec on the 06's? From what i have gathered the 06's seem to be a little more finiky when using the utec and produce a rough transition into boost. Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks
Chris
Thanks

Rev-Ups have a little more timing in the lower RPM range, so you'll definately want to flash the stock ecu and attempt to "balance" out the transition point where the UTEC takes over... Or, you could just go with a stand-alone EMS and bypass the problem all together
My buddy had an 06' with a UTEC on a TN setup and it hiccup'd like crazy. SOme days would be almost perfect other days with its hesitations and such. Countless retuning couldnt figure it out...
which ems solution did he end up going with?
I hate to say it but i am really interested in the f-con IS due to it video output feature, but it is still just a piggy back

I have no transition problems ('05 Revup) switching from ecu to utec. sometimes, I do get a 'lil kick when letting off the throttle though.
It took some part throttle tuning to get the ecu and utec to blend, but I imagine that's normal for all utec tunes

Same here.. the only hiccup I see is if I'm cruising and I'm letting that gas on and off at around 0.0 PSI.. I guess that's my fault coz it get confuse if utec should grab or not... but continues driving then transition isn't a problem
My '06 transitions perfectly. I'm NA and tuning in SD mode. The only problem I have is that right now I go super rich (10:1) on close throttle. It's mostly a resolution issue for me though because I'm only tuning in one load column (10%) because I'm NA. I really wish there was a 5% column.
Man i already pm'd you a long time ago explaining that i could not find the tires and asked for a address to send you a check to refund you the 30 dollars for shipping cost. The sale was for the wheels and tires that were mounted. I was basically GIVING you tires becuase i had no need for them and asked that you just paid for the shipping. PM me with a respones.
yah mines real smooth on the stock exhaust maps but today a friend was driven with exhaust cutout op and he hit boost, backed off for a sec and then punched it and the car just died, scared the **** out of me, cars fine and runs great but I guess the stock ecu and utec were battling for control. but I don't think it was tuned for street driving with the cut out open, purley for going fast in a strait line without needing to stop, lol who knows.
