You shouldn't assume that a higher horsepower reading actually means you have more power. Take the number at hand, run it at the track and take your trap speed as your #1 indicator for the power you have

haha, i cant believe i missed this thread.

no TN stock block makes 430whp on my dyno. never.




also, i hope HP tuning knows how to build engines. sounds like they will have a 07 G35 engine to build here soon...

We'll bring the car up to orlando if it puts down 430 u cover my dyno time.

i will give you $200 dollars cash if it does.... BUT if it doesnt, i would like to have $100 dollars payment for the dyno time.


there is no worries here at all. please lay down the guidelines of what you will be running and i will agree with it. no nitrous...

LOL! This thread soooo reminds me of that other delusional guy with the supercharger that thought he was making more power than anyone else at xx PSI. r0mey offered to pay for the dyno at MRC. The guy eventually showed up at MRC and of course the car didn't dyno anything close to the power he thought he had. I looked for that thread, but I think it got deleted.

I predict a similar outcome at Performance Factory.

Guidelines will be as follows

-My current list of mods as shown in sig.
-The up pipe has been welded shut since the dyno @ 408 on the mustang dyno. (judgeing by how it sounds and drives, ever since the car left pf for the first time it has had a leak. i think that was the leak you told me about when i picked up my car.)
-the bet was that no turbonetics kit has ever or will ever put 430whp on your dyno(stock block).... NEVER. so that will be the expected peak hp. even though i estimated 420-430.
-I'm excited to see the outcome!!!!! this should be awesome
-My car will be given time to cool down due to the imense heat soak with my current set up :-D and 3 hour drive.
-No hostility or animosity this is for FUN!!!
-dyno run is to be caught on tape for no shinanigas.
- a stock g35 or 350z should be run to make sure the dyno calibraitons are not running anything shady :-D Fair is the name of the game don't want to see a vq makin only 170whp :-P
- After the run i will present a dyno graph of what the car put out on the mustang dyno. so we can compare #'s ( if i can get a print out )
- a full write up will be constructed to let everyone know teh out come!!!

if you want to get risky you can bet a nice HKS EVC boost controller :-P lol id like one of those.

anyone want to place bets? lol

I'm open to ideas this is what i came up with @ 2:30 in the morning please add if you will :-D

You can't recalibrate or over correct a Dynojet like that. You'd just have to run it on there uncorrected.

Why? At 430whp with methanol injection on a custom tune there is no reason why the motor would not hold up.
