If you are talking about the T that threads into the oil pan, you can probably pick one up at your local auto parts store. Had I known you needed it, I would have thrown one in the box.

No, not the oil pan. I need the T that will thread in to the stock oil pressure sensor location. It looks to be 1/8" BSPT, (Brittish standart pipe thread) this for the turbo oil supply line. I tried the 10mmx1.0 to 1/8" NPT adapter, thinking if everything on the car is metric the oil pressure sensor should be as well. Not the case.

By the way Hal, thank you for the very quick work on the Haltech.

There will be an update with pictures tommorow. I am just finishing all the IC piping and rerouting some exhaust stuff.

I was finaly able to get a my hands on a oil pressure sensor T. Intense was able to get one from their supplier, but they wanted $65 for express shipping to Canada. I though WTF is that all about, so now it is on it's way on a slow truck from who knows where.

I am still waiting on two V-band clamps one 2" and the other is 2.5" as well as a 2"x4" flex pipe.

Good old ebay, and the guy didn't rape me for shipping. Most sellers on ebay make a crap load on shipping to Canada. I believe the entire mandrell kit cost me about $120US shipped up here, so very reasonable.

I would never put mild steel under the car, aluminized steel is better but a b1tch to weld unless you are miging it.

Default Much better

As promised, an update.

Exhaust piping redone. I am really happy with the way this turned out, there is absolutly no chance of any ratling/rubbing anywhere. It is much simpler to make/duplicate and uses less piping. I feel stupid for not figuring this out sooner. I don't have the crossover pipe connected because I am waiting for a 2x4" flex pipe and a 2" V-band clamp. They should be here next week.

IC piping just inside the passenger side wheel. As you can see there is plenty of room here and again there is no chance of anything ratling. I checked clearances while the wheel is all the way down (car airborne). I also put a jack under that wheel and lifted as high as it would go, (hitting a bump at high speed) compressing the suspention. In each cases there is abut 1.5" of clearance to the closesest suspention component. So I'm good here, the air filter will go just below the header flange, hence the large opening:

I am really happy with the way this turned out as well. I went on ebay and got a CAI for the 350z,
($25 +shipping) hoping the piping would eliminate some fabrication. It did. Don't mind the clamps, those came with the CAI and will be replaced with proper T-bolt clamps. I still have to weld the BOV flange on there somewhere, other than that it is complete.

I am getting excided now, and don't think I'll be able to wait for the snow to melt and drive to the tuner. Haltech will be here next week so if I put in a few hours in during the week and next weekend, everything should be good to go.

Maybe I'll have to put the car on a trailer and go, the tuner is about 150km from me (90 miles).
Will see how things go.

I am glad I went this route over purchasing a premade kit. With the exception of installing the "CAI" from ebay I didn't have to do any work under the hood. The main objective here was to leave the car in as much of a stock configurations as possible, I think that I have succeeded so far. Everything can be turned back to stock in one afternoon.

Thaks guys.

I will let you know if I make the trip down to Red Deer Gord. I know that Dusting wanted to come out and see how I do on the dyno as well.

The w/g has a 6psi spring so I doubt that I wil get more than 370whp, that is what I am aming for anyway. If I wanted more than that I would have built a TT kit. Mind you, I could always put a GT35R turbo in there and upsize the DP to 3", even though the turbo that I have should be able to deliver 450whp
Maybe down the road if I have the cash I willl get a built bottom end, you never know.

Wow that was very quick. I bet you cant wait to drive it. Im thinking that you should of just kept the Utec because that would be more then adequate for your power levels. But you will be more than happy with the Haltech.
