All the serious road racing Z's are JWT kits with bb turbos. M-workz, Forged, Doubledown all have the JWT kit.
I agree with what your saying. The JWT kit is nice (as well as the GTM), I just don't like how George (of all people!) is insinuating people hide failures.

I really do not think that is what George was trying to say. Most of the people on this forum never hit the track in their cars, and will never get the abuse that a road race track can dish out on a car. Most all of the turbo systems made for the Z and the engines they are applied to will fail miserably when beaten on the track. They simple were not built, tested or designed to withstand the abuse. Having said that, when people do have failures at the track they don't rush on here to tell you about it----not that anybody is trying to hide it. People want to tell others what a badass car they have, not how poorly it held up. People do not want to let others know when they spent crap loads on a car only to show that the R & D for these systems is lacking and that capabilities limit their use to the street.

Maybe George knows something that Jason doesn't. Just becasue George is insinuating doesn't make his information a fabrication.
I'd say he knows a lot I don't, but he is a sales man in the end. I am simply asking why he would imply that people are hiding turbo issues on a turbo kit made in a different country. WTF is the point of hiding it? Anyway this thread is about your build so sorry for all the OT.

I was just stating the reason you probably haven't heard of many failures with the GReddy kit is because people are not tracking them OR they are not posting about it - which is why you haven't heard of them.
Sorry if I came off as a sales man it was not my intent, but yes I do believe that our turbo system is better than the GReddy.
For the same price or less than a GReddy kit our kit provides:
-True Garrett turbochargers
-TiAL Blow of valve(s)
-TiAL wastegates (for externally actuated kits)
-Bar and Plate intercooler
You shouldn't have to apologize to someone that misinterprets "not posting" into "hiding", doesn't know GTM TT kits use Garrett turbos, doesn't know that ball bearing, water cooled turbos are more reliable than their oil-cooled sleeve bearing counterparts, and applies the word "sales man" in a derogatory fashion to one of the most knowledgable and helpful people on the site. How about a little respect to the sponsors that put out solid products - they keep the forums alive and give us consumers great choices in aftermarket products!
I am not a salesman, don't have any financial interest in GTM whatsoever, but I think JET made a fine choice of turbo kits for his application. Not only are the components of the highest quality, but the piping and overall design are outstanding. Shopping today for FI, I would put the GTM TT kit to the top of my list.
