I know guys with 30+years of musclecar experience that could run 9's for cheap $$$ and build OHV motors in their sleep, that doesnt mean they know what the hell is up with a VQ/imports or how these shops work. Ughhh, you prove my point again...
no discredit to Sharif.. i love Sharif.. the point was an HR Motor let go at 500 whp .. and since it IS possible.. no one should set their stock goal at 500 whp.. the fact is an HR CAN let go at 500 whp..
Fact is that motor had a problem. That doesn't prove anything that a HR will let go at 500 when many others are going without any issues.
if i boost to 500 whp and blow my car up, i will indeed honor you with such a thread

lots of people have blown up Z's because they thought tuning a Z was the same as every other car they have had exprience with for years..

You missed the entire point of this conversation. If you feel I dont have a point, practice what you preach, go TT your HR (if you even have one) run 500whp and try to prove me wrong. Otherwise take yourself back to arguing over what intake makes the most power, you're failing miserably here.
