Default No Boost...White smoke pouring out of exhaust

I was driving the other day, and lost boost completely...after driving around and tinkering with the couplers, checking for boost leaks, white smoke is pouring out of my exhaust...Any ideas?

SparksNotes: No boost, white smoke pouring from exhaust

Sorry to hear that. My former '90 300ZX TT had a similar issue on its 1st motor. You are burning oil more than likely. Could be a combination of headgasket & piston rings. Sorry. This is an internal issue for sure.

check your spark plug to see if there's any detonation but it seems like it's a head gasket.

if I were a bet'n man, I would bet your motor is toast.

Anthing from a head gasket to broken piston

if its the motor it would still be building boost.. and if it was his headgasket not only would he be building boost he it would be over heating..

Check your crankcase ventilation hoses. If they collapsed under heat (i.e. cheap rubber, use only SAE30R6 fuel injection hose and above) then oil will go everywhere - into the intercoolers and up the intake tract. If this happened you will need to clean out your IC and piping. If you take off your plenum, it will be obvious if you have pooled oil there.

Thanks for the replies...After a little more investigation, The driver's side down-pipe has a good amount of oil in it..Would one blown turbo cause Zero Boost?
