yea, 25psi was 690rwhp (believe that was same timing as 30psi)

and 20psi was like 600rwhp even.

I cant wait to see how solidly the 128 box interpolates between pump and E85.

Will you guys dyno a mixture scenario to double check AFR's? I know I'd want that verified before heading 800 miles away.

Tom did you ever do a dyno at say 25-28 psi to see when you started to just blow hot air?

so seems like your turbos were still doin ok at 30psi as you were still making almost 20hp/psi between 25-30.

You could probably make 650 on pump right now (if you had an EMS with active knock control ))

Ha,

on 18psi as it sits its probably right at 600rwhp (that would be the limit with current tune on 93 octane).

No reason to push it too hard......cams will certainly help out a lot for that as well....

I'm getting antsy to see what it does. Ordered cams/springs yesterday so things are in motion.

Damn you Thom! Always trying to +1 huh? lol

Tickets purchased to arrive in Chi-town 2pm. Will spend afternoon going over car with Larry and de-bugging if I can find anything to de-bug, then heading home wednesday.
Open to any friendly reminders of "what not to forget to ask" before heading out 800 miles away. Thanks everyone for the comments so far.

Hey Thom, your 769 hp was on 116 right? So I am no way going to even come close to eclipsing that #. You're lucky...for now. Haha. Hey maybe we can finally meet. You free Tuesday. Pick me up at the airport man!

769rwhp was on 110 leaded gas. We never did any C16 pulls.

Lemme check my schedule for tuesday (my car will be at shop, gets dropped off monday!)

Like I said, I wouldnt leave without verification of E85 interpolation for various percentages of ethanol.

Will do. And I will try to obtain dyno plots for all of the runs made thus far.
I wish i could see where the car makes power. But I am going to guess its late and probably acts more like a single Turbo than a twin...Mainly because the turbos are slightly larger than stock 18G's and because of the bigger cams (272's). This will probably help road manners a bit...we'll see. Just 3 more days.
Oh the wait is killing me.

nah, it shouldnt look like a single. XKRs looks pretty TT standard and he has aggro cams and bigger turbos.

not SPs drag twin 6262 car looks like a single

I saw the graph, looks pretty normal (except where it spun tires on dyno lol...well on that pull)

so are those 18G, 20G, or 20g wheels stuffed into a 18G housing?

Option C. 20G wheels stuffed into an enlarged 18G housing. Supposedly Forced Performance opened up the compressor housings on my Greddy 18G turbos. Originally we sent them just the cores of the turbo's to rebuild and upgrade...come to find out, they also needed the comp housing to machine those out to accommodate the larger wheels. But I am not sure I am truly convinced that the modified 18G-->20G's would be actually on par with a factory 20G turbo direct from Greddy.
I guess time will tell.

the greddy 20g's have a larger turbine outlet also... do you know if FP opened that up on your turbine housings too or if you have the same diameter outlet?

Well FP never gave me a breakdown of what they did. I just told them I wanted the 20G upgrade and shipped them the parts. They took care of everything else. The only snag in the process was that originally the shop failed to send the compressor housings.

I needed to rebuild the turbos anyway, and the difference in just rebuilding them to 18G's and upgrading them to 20G's was like $200 IIRC.

nice numbers! Do you know which upgrade they did to your turbos? I believe they had 3 different "stages" for the upgrade. I got the 76 Comp, 67 Turb.

For reference this is the stock 18g turbo gasket that came with the Greddy TT kit. After I got my turbos back from Forced performance I had to take a significant amount of material away from the gasket to match the turbine housing. I also will have to modify my downpipe.

Can't tell you anything more than that.

oops, sorry rr didn't catch that earlier.

I was going to try and use a 20g gasket but the bolt spacing is different. I think the ID of the turbine outlet measured 61-62mm, just the right size for a 2.5" to 3" reducer for my downpipes.

Hey guys, I'm late to the party on this one!

I am working on a little teaser video right now with Randy's dyno graph for the pump gas numbers he made. It was very impressive and sounds mean as hell! I even had to sit in the trunk to make full pulls on this bad boy. Those 275 tires were holding on for dear life!!

Regarding the questions about E85, the ProEFI 128 has a built in feature to read the ethanol percentage and allow for boost accordingly. We can run it with a full tank of E85, a full tank of pump 93, or a mixture and the ProEFI will change the maps accordingly to give the safest boost level based on the fuel content.
