It's easy to be dismissive for random ad hoc events, but I'm not so sure there isn't a pattern. I wonder if this shouldn't be standard issue:

Don't want to start any builder bashing here. Not my thread to do so. I just want to contribute my positive inputs in regards to the 20G potential once the rebuild is complete. No need to dwell on the negative.

Oh yeah and to answer Terry's question I am currently running OS Giken Twin Plate Metal Clutch. I am hoping it is up to snuff.

I did pick this up along the way:

Same idea, except without the actual caps. Stock caps should be fine.

^^ nice. Ahh well. Live and learn. Wasn't trying to bash, just learn. If clearances change because the stock girdle flexes, it's neither the builder's nor the tuner's fault per se.

I gotcha. NP.
Whenever I have the chance to make an improvement I will most definitely take advantage. The billet girdle is usually a safe move as well as a little extra insurance. So why not?

So I have been reading a bunch and I'm starting wish I had gone with the Garrett turbos. Really the big reason is because the greddy are only oil cooled and have been told they will fail if I want to track my car. What are yalls opinion on this and how much do you think it would take to make them fail? Thanks.

Back in business. Hoping to get the tuning done this coming week. Car is mobile. Larry had it out of the shop last week for a test drive. (Still not yet tuned).

Yes. All the baseline and driveability tuning is complete. All that is left to do is the power tunes. 1) on 93 pump, and 2) on E-85.
Then after picking up the car, I will have 800+ miles to come up with some feedback on the 128 box upgrade. Sorry for the delays. That Larry is a freakin' perfectionist! (I'm not complaining)

I think this is one of the few things still not deciphered yet (CAN packet IDs to read wheel speed sensors). Everything else on the 128 I think is ready to go. And just because they get it working for rmedicx, doesn't mean it'll work for all G35s (this plagued a few of us with the Haltech until Hal went digging for CAN packet IDs for us early model year G35 users)

Wooooah, Slow your roll fella's. Traction control is still being actively worked on. Estimated ETA for completion is summer time. No traction control yet.
