sickk!!!! ^^^ thats awesome! I really like how it would be so easyy to change the turbo ( upgrade ) or ( if something goes wrong ) shouldn't take more than 30 min to do, same goes for the down pipe.. as in other kits it would just be a *****! to do. Definitely a big plus for me

I know you are very busy guy, but as you get the next kit ready for shipping would it be possible to do a total weight of this kit before packaging & then a packaged weight.

Thanks in advance

Well, the kit packeged up weighs 55kg (120lbs). Not sure why you need the unpacked weight, but I would estimate that there is about 10 pounds of packaging material with boxes.

Thanks for the quick reply

If I was to purchace this kit I wanted to know the weight it would add to the vehicle ( a track car )

The pakaged weight was to establish frieght charges

Had some time today to see how the smaller FMIC will fit behind the bumper. This FMIC will be sold for kits that will power a stock block, they are smaller (21x6x3 core) but will still support 450+whp. The nice thing is that they will have the same bolt mounting and hardware as the larger FMIC, so it will be very easy to upgrade if need be.

Couple of pictures:

i like the options on the kit but if mounting is the same for both intercoolers then that means the larger one wouldnt need special modifications to install it therefore really no reason to get a smaller intercooler.

I guess there is a reasonable cost difference? Even if someone was running a stock block with 400hp system I would still opt for the larger intercooler. Might as well help combat intake temps as much as possible.

I have to play around with it but I think with the smaller IC you would be able to keep your crash bar in place. There is such a thing as too big of an intercooler, so this one is much more suited for those going with a stock block. Why run a IC that will support over 1000hp if you are only planing on being at 400hp.

Same goes for turbos.

I have had a few people with concerns, thinking the turbo is sitting low and exposed to rocks when off-roading. I have been driving for over 10 years and have never run over something that could do any damage to a component under the car. The way I look at it if you do (for whatever reason) hit something going at highway speeds your oil pan will go first. At that point you are done driving anyway.

So, as I always do, I went to the garage and took a couple more pictures:

As you can see the lowest part of the turbo is 1/2" higher than your OEM skid plates.

Then there are a few people that think the 2.5" crossover pipe is also low, and will scrape all over the place. As you can see there is 2.25" of clearance here. If you notch the casting on the transmision you get the full 2.5".

I hope that helps.

Also, I did change the charge piping MAF sensor adapter location. It will sit on the under side, so out of site:

This is how the MAF adapter looks underneath, once polished:

turbo will be fine. you guys act like youre offroading your Zs. my APS ST had the SS pan under it, when i sold it, the pan looked brand new, no dents or scratches, after 2 years, and its lower than this one.

Tell me about it, not sure what all the fuss is about. I try to get the point across as much as possible. I guess some will never like it, and that is fine by me. There are other options out there for them.

I would rather not discuss his private business publicly.

Injected Performance will be doing the install and tuning shortly.

I can tell you that he is very very happy with how things look, and is looking foward to some numbers.
