ya twin scroll. you already have a crossover so, that just get welded to one side of the divided manifold. And then the other side obviously gets welded to the other side

just seems like it would be easy to do.

Yeah that would not be possible with this set up. There is room down there, but not THAT much.

Maybe if I was to redo the entire setup with 2" exhaust pipng it may work, but not with the 2.5".

ah, stupid speed based dynos!

rich, weren't some of the guys talking about twin scrolls not working well for v6's. Someone had a thread about it not long ago.

also, anyone know what the lag on a 6765 would be over a 6262? Thom tried to look up a few dyno's and couldn't find much luck. Basically a 3.0L supra engine would be a pretty close match to see how fast they spool.

there was another dyno with rpms, but i didnt post that one becuase its not relative to our cars. They were spinning the teg to 10,000 rpms. full spool wasnt until like 7500 rpms

On our cars the 6765 would lag pretty good, not a street turbo per say, maybe 800+ rpms later. Searching for T67 dynos would give you more insight. You'd definitely need to build your motor with a 8000+ redline in mind.

but no, twin scroll is a great design for a single. Its just hard to replicate on a V motor. But already using a crossover pipe is almost all the work. Its easy on an inline motor because all the runners are next to each other.

well, considering my car was still making power up to 8k (unforunately the vortech gave out and fuel also became an issue) i will probably be reving to 8500. The engine has been to 8500 on the street...hal just didn't want to push the vortech anymore on his dyno which is understandable. My redline will be no less than 8k.

Found a supra with a 6765 .96a/r billet wheel:

Fuel: E85
Max WHP: 801
Torque: 760
Full boost: 4.5k

Then you need a much bigger turbo. ball bearing 6765 without a doubt

sob rich, why you throwing out that ball bearing ****!? you think i'm made of money and feel like running coolant lines? well, the money differene isn't bad but i hate the thought of running coolant lines under the car like that.

so 4500 isn't bad, that's well within what i would call "laggy" zone. plans might have just changed.

jeff, your motor and a 67 and 8K rpm..... would be insane... I think its time for you to do it already and set some records =)

no PTE has air cooled ceramic BB's now. Only way to go on a big single

Boosted P. Im sure this has been asked already but with out going thru all the pages of this great build . Have you tried fitting this kit to an early AT5 G35 yet ?

I have not, and can tell you that it will not fit. It fits the G, but not the AT. The large AT oil pan is in the way of the cross over pipe. I use a large (2.5") cross over, so I had to run in right in the middle of the 6 spd gearbox, because this is where it is highest from the ground.

Is there anyway the pipes can be modified to fit the larger AT oil pan?

There is always a way. I just don't have time to look in to it yet. Perhaps this winter.
