I understand that you do not use addition in the calculation. In the calc. I am using boost1= 7.5psi and boost 2= 5.5psi. JerryD87 has the correct formula. I have seen several others posted around the web but the one here is the correct one.
7.5+14.6 = 22.1/14.6=1.514
5.5+14.6= 20.1/14.6 = 1.378
1.514x1.378=2.08x14.6=30.37-14.6=15.77
So im looking to get about 15 pounds of boost out of this setup on the low end of the turbos capability. I am also now at a mile high so it hurts my #'s all around. I can subtract a good 15% due to the elevation.

SuperZ,
If you try to defend the theory of a succesful twin charge build on this thread, you will end up just posting nothing but defensive posts. It just adds fuel to the fire and this thread will be nothing but a pissing match. This is why i have left most of them alone and let them think they "know everything" about how this is the worst idea ever.
My thoughts...Yes, it does make more sense to put on just the turbo and put down huge numbers, saving cost, and time, and weight. If thats your goals in life. However, these are NOT our goals of this project. We do have the money and time and the curiosity to try something different on this VQ and venture into something other than "Proven" applications.
Not many people grasp this concept here. Some do, and they are the ones who add the value input.

the main thing is not many people on here grasp the concept of operations and how different things interact. you have a few people in the know but thats about it. not trying to insult anyone but its a different breed who have this car, its not like a 3rd gen(82-92) camaro that is so old no one is going to dump huge amounts of money into it so they fab everything and do everything themselves. from what ive seen, again theres a few exceptions but most people just havnt learned this stuff and some things are fairly complex. i know if anyone dosnt understand and wants to learn turbomustangs is a very very exceptional place to go for complex topics across a wide range of platforms, its usually the first place any other forum recommend new users go to learn things

Well. I have tried everything possible to attach a picture to this thread!!!!!
But...this site lets me attach pictures into an album under my profile.
Ive tried to attach the URL of the kits i have into this as an attachment but of course that doesnt work either.
So... Go to my profile. Look under my album and check out the car and the kit thats going in if you really want to see it.
Heres the kit all sprawled out in my garage.
