I don't even Care about the thread jack, I'm just waiting to hear back from vortech. Calling them tomorrow after work. Hopefully they can tell me what's going on.

Well vortech called me. My blower is trashed. They gave me a 500$ credit. On the up side, they will send me back my blower so I can hang it on the wall, lol. I have another full v3 sci kit for sale in the classifieds. When that sells, I'll be picking up something bigger. Staying with a blower for now.

Yeah that's the plan. I would go with another ti trim but don't really want to overspin. My current set up would hit 65000 rpms on the impeller and that's what the ysi is rated to. In expecting slip as usual but also expecting some decent gains through out. I really won't be out of pocket if i can sell this other blower kit.
SuperChargersOnline.com has about the best prices on Vortech Stuff.

I had a bad time dealing with them. Waited days and days with no quotes, had to call multiple times for the same thing, to again, get emailed days later. Ended up saving a ton by going to Beef Cake Racing. Beef Cake gave me better prices being on the phone for 30 seconds. SCO I'd call and they would never give me a straight up estimate on the phone, always would try to email me days later, and their quotes were hundreds more on everything I asked.

And Meanz I lost my phone, again. This time, I really don't know where.

Sooo, finally drained the oil tonight and pulled the pan. There was a tiny bit of metal shavings that got through. No big chunks or anything. I assume it's all from the impeller. I had just changed the oil the same night this happened, so it's all fresh still. How screwed am I?
Probably fine. Are they small enough they could get through the screen of the pick up? Or through the filter if they made it through the pick up? Can cut your filter open to check for metal. But your probably fine.
Might still be fine. Unless you want to inspect the bottom end my first instinct would be to do a a couple oil changes and try to listen to any unusual sounds. Take a look at your oil filter, see what it sucked up. maybe check the oil pump and do a leakdown test?

Yeah I'll reseal the pan pull off the filter and check it. The pieces are pretty small. Most of the debris was caught in my intercooler. I'll do a couple of oil flushes soon. Like I said before, I think engine should be fine. When it happened i removed cog belt and then also removed charge piping from the throttle body. The idle was a little off, but I was running open throttle body, lol. Drove it home and it acted 100% fine. Even stopped to get beer and went home. Car seemed healthy just as before. Hoping for a good outcome. I have a few offers on my other vortech kit. As soon as that sells, I'll be picking up the ysi.
Resmarted, did you ever find your phone yet or replace it? You just found that thing the other night lol. If I ever get this ysi, I want to make an offer on those injectors. Next time I hit the tuner, I'll be tuning for e85.
