I would flush the Intercooler and hope all the metal bits are in there and not the engine. Do a oil change real quick too.

I would also pull the lower oil pan and see if there is any metal shavings in there.

I've been wanting to make the change to turbo... Guess now I have to. Car is staying parked for a while. Taking off insurance till I get my next lower adder. Sending blower to vortech on Monday to see if it can be rebuilt. If so, I'll do it and sell it all as a kit. Vortech said it would be 1000-1400 for rebuild depending on what's messed up. I'll pay it if I can get it fixed to sell. Some money is better than no money.

gonna be hard to re-coup that money for refreshing the blower.

that really sucks. I would think you could just change the impeller for under 500. Talk to those guys in wisconsin at 928 motorsports.

If you want a good deal on a precision turbo you could use with BP piping (save some money) let me know! That's one shitty situation man. I'd still check the impeller replacement cost. Might be able to sell the kit as is, include the blower and let the buyer know the price to fix.
Or injectors for that matter!

Well I ready got my return number for vortech. Gonna see what they say when they get it. Pretty sure shaft and or bearings are messed up also. The impeller is rubbing casing with volute removed. Vortech said that usually happens when bearings fail. I have a few friends trying to make me go with a custom setup altogether. I have a while to wait before I finally decide. Whatever I do, it will be turbo and I'm shooting for high 600s low 700..

I got a turbo that was primed and poorly idled on twice that will easily get those numbers for you , mid maybe even high 600's no problem on pump gas all day. This was when it was brand new, has some stuff on the outside of the compressor housing now but it's reversible

That's the only single turbo option that will get there without a bunch of extra work. A greddy 20g could get there but nothing else off the shelf will get you there.
SFR is an option, but everyone has to do a bunch of crap to get those manifolds to fit. GTM would be a bad idea, because you're likely to never get even a tracking number, and Power lab or a momentum (if you can find a shop that has either one or buy used) will start running out of puff just short of 600whp. Turbonetics is a waste of time off a stock block imo. STS complete waste. I guess there is the SOHO mid mount, and there's also the VSR or something rather single kit, but those kits get fabbed in house in Florida. BP is the best option for his power goals.
Buy my turbo, save a few hundred and get a bit more juice out of the BP! minor mods needed to fit according to sasha.

Here's what the 7675 did on dynosty's dyno... Mines a step down with the 7175 .96 a/r. Like a mid sized gt42 turbo. The gt40 seems to get maxed about 700whp so the mid frame gt42 equivalent turbos could easily make meanz's target numbers on pump...

Not good. Good chance some of that made it to the engine. Have you pulled the oil pan yet?

Large pieces couldn't have, so only dust may have. Have to remember the impeller stopped making pressure as soon as the belt broke, well before the impeller grenaded. And as soon as he let off the throttle the bov probably bypassed most of the air.

Haven't pulled pan yet. Not starting it till I do. Just pushing it around the garage now. I'm positive the engine is fine though.
