If it was me I would like to make less psi but more power, if that makes sense. So I would go YSI.

Just slap in one of these with a low boost procharger and you will be good to go!

My vote is for the billet YSi. Higher efficiency, higher spin, more CFM. You'll have more options for pulley configs without worrying about overspinning.

I'm shipping out this kit soon, then I'll see what I have left over. Really wanting to try the ysi out. Just don't want to waste the blower due to the fact of to much belt slip.

It's cheaper to do the better option once than to get the cheaper option, get bored of it, and then upgrade to the better option anyway.
Go for broke. You'll get more money eventually

That's exactly what I was saying. Ysi billet is your best chance to step up in power. Worst case scenario, you can probably sell it for enough $ to buy a TI to a domestic guy looking to upgrade

Josh, I don't know what you rev to? but IMO if you go with the larger 6.78 diameter ATI Ccrank pulley, with a 28/34 cog, and a 3.25 serp and rev to 7500rpm that would get you right around 65,000rpm at the blower with a YSI-B.

I think with the larger diameter crank, the larger serp pullies and my Radius Rod you would be able to hold 28-30psi with the 6 rib, maybe more. ( the YSI-B will make upwards of 34psi ) I have a friend with a YSI and my Radius Rod with a 2.75 serp making 26psi.

This would also leave you room to eighter raise the rev limiter and or go down to a 3.12serp.

I wish we lived close so I could help you get 6 rib pulleys set-up perfect. I would love to see you do well with a YSI-B setup!

Chart below

68,586 x .9557% = 65,547rpm remember a V7 runs 4.43% slower than a V2.

Josh, I should also note that Vortech makes a 27 tooth cog supercharger pulley, that would let you go to a 3.33 serp and help with slip even more.

So with this it would be a 34/27 cog setup.

You can order direct from Vortech, that's where I got my cog pullies.

DO NOT go thru VORTECH..... You will PAY RETAIL.

I use superchargersonline.com It's at leat 10-15% cheaper and sometimes more.

But just about any Vortech re-saler will be cheaper than Vortech.

Well as of right now, I'm not pulling the trigger on another blower. I'm leaning towards turbos now. I'll update on what I end up doing soon.

Does anyone have any info on how much you need to massage the car to fit the ysi?. Seems that the turbo route is falling through, and since I know I can make 600 on a t trim. I might stay with a blower. Nothing is definite.

Think I made up my mind, I'll update when parts come in.
