Yeah it kind of sounds like that. Thanks guys!

And my idle is set to I think 1100... The 272's and id2000's aren't exactly ideal for low idle lol

Went to the track and did horrible all night. Car ran great, just no traction. Very hot and humid all night. Sprinkled a little bit befor the track opened. I had one ok launch, but when I snagged 2nd, all the fuel was at the back of the tank and starved my pumps and the car shut down. I had a half of tank. I know this to be the issue because it's done it before. Fill it back up and it's good.

Question, does anyone make any kind of drop in baffle to help stop the fuel from getting away from the pumps in a hard launch or when making right turns?

I haven't heard of anything vehicle specific. You could try some fuel cell foam but I'm not a fan. I would recommend an external sump. A fair investment, but it opens up a world of fuel pump options.

I've only had a problem 1 time, and that was below 1/8 of a tank.

Finally got my cog belts I ordered a month ago. I have a claim that's still pending. There was a sticker on the box that said return to shipper and had my wife's name on it. Have no idea why her name was on it when she has never ordered them ever. The date on the invoice was from May. Something got screwed up. But now I have spares.

On another note. I've been playing with some cars out of my hp range. A 1jz 240 that put down 733 And another guys fully built gto on 200 shot of gas. He also puts down 700+. I'll load them to my YouTube soon. They both pull me, but still fun.

nice put those vids up. I've watched all your vids a few times.

If you need to I'll buy a belt off you man. That's some dumb-chit. I wouldn't mind having a spare. Besides all you need is a 50 shot and you:

Thanks for the offer. I think I'm going to keep these just in case. If my original claim still goes through, I'll sell those.

With a CJM twin pump 485/255, I have trouble at about 1/4 tank. Rare but sometimes between 1/2 to 1/4 tank. The pumps are located far forward. Surge tank seems like the only solution, but space is an issue. I don't think a baffle is practical given limited access to the tank.

EDIT: Please note that a more gradual launch can help prevent the fuel from sloshing around!

Started stripping the paint off the blower. Gonna be polishing it up. Gonna paint my timing cover black and most likely be polishing my cosworth.

Still working on this little by little every night. It's looking pretty good. I've decided to send out my cosworth to be done. This little blower takes to long.

Go by the parts store and get a bottle of white diamond. Will polish it out to mirror finish in 5 minutes.

Grabbed a bottle of it. Works pretty good. I'm finished for now. Putting car back together for a cars and coffee meet that's being hosted by a z group this Saturday. The blower can def use more sanding. Will do it some more when I pull the cosworth to be done.

f*ck my life! Went to the strip. Had the wrong map on off the line so the car bogged hard. Started to pick up. Going into 3rd and I shred a belt. No problem cause I have a back up! Wrong!! The belt shredded and went into the blower. Wasn't running a filter at the track. Well all my impeller fans are shredded! It's f*cked! I disconnected the charge piping at the throttle body and drove it home. Also disconnected cog belt so it would spin blower. When I say it's bad, it's an understatement. Gonna call vortech tomorrow and see what my options are.

When I sent my blower to Vortech for the Si Impeller it cost $495 plus $37 shipping for the rebuild and impeller. Without seeing pics of the damage and assuming all damage was isolated to the blower I would say it's not nearly as bad as it could have been. Good luck and I hope you get it running soon.

Thanks man, I'm calling vortech on my lunch break and setting up a ship date with them. This makes me so mad. It's no ones fault but my own for running tonight with out the filter. I'm trying to upload pics but it's updating at the moment. I'll have pics up tomorrow. I can drive without the blower, but it's not the same lol.
