Yeah this went in prett simple. It was a lot easier since I have the front end off. I'm mocking up some 3" piping off the blower now with a coupler and its clearing. Well it's right up against a couple things, but it's gonna work out great!
Hay Josh,
Saw you're pic's photo hut or whatever the name is.
If you have already then no worries. But the Area under the SC'er near the flange on the Frame should be ground or trimmed back. I'd say you want a min of 3/4" clearance here.
Even though you have soild mounts, stuff still moves....

Thanks Tim, I might wait and see how it does before I do any adjustments to that area.
Been working with mocking up piping coming off the blower. It's a tight fit but it's doable. I'm using extra piping that I have to mock everything up before I buy piping and weld it.
Couple issues I was having, the piping coming out th blower was hitting fan shrouds and was hitting the electrical plug causing piping to bind a little bit. I found I was able to move the fan Motor around if i grinder a notch for the connection for the fans. Grinding down plastic is super easy lol. Had to grind/cut out some more to fit. This is the only spot I've been having issues with. But i have it on now and it's not hitting. It's tight, but not hitting.

Yes, I talked to them and they said everything would be good. Just wasn't sure on fitment inside the car. I can spin it by hand in the correct direction and it blows out. When spun by hand, the gears are pretty noisy. I'm guessing it's normal. I'm calling vortech tomorrow to ask about a couple things.
There is an input shaft...some gears and then finally the impeller spins. The input shaft needs to spin the right direction to spin the impeller the right direction..not sure how many gears in between the input shaft and impeller.
Josh, Looking Good!
Just Make Sure! The Volute can Never hit or touch any other part of the car!
It can cause Vibration between the Volute and Impeller, and that's not's good.
Their is only about .006" Clearance between the Volute and the Impeller.
