So got the car to the shop, found a leaking fuel rail. Got that all fixed then the dam car wont start, got to looking around and the damn ground for the main harness on the front of the block broke off. Im thinking no way in hell thats it but sure enough we fix it and car starts right up fml!.

Im not expecting any big numbers were just getting it so I can drive it and put some miles on it, block only has 150-175 miles on it.

Once it has some miles we'll start looking for power.

That's some **** man. Sorry to hear that. At least you didn't put so much rtv on your timing cover that some bolts can't actually fit lmao

Hey,do you have any updates on how your procharger/build is going?.
I finally got my Z tuned,put down 360rwhp and 320ft lbs torque.
Thanks again for that pipe!

On a side note, pm me if you ended up getting the new piping for the G35 kit and I'll buy your old piping

I don't want to be part of this club :-( but I really really don't want to pull the timing covers back off.

I know I could have this done in a weekend but I just don't want to do it. And to top it all off; while cleaning out the garage yester day and putting more things up in the rafters a test pipe fell and put a nice new gouge in my trunk....

It's just life getting in the way of fun. It's not as big of a deal as you'd think. As for pulling the covers off, it's definitely annoying.

Oh man! Sorry to hear that. I know it's tough to find the motivation at times, but once everyhting is all said and done you'll be glad you put in the time and effort. My procharger set up took me 2 years to finally get done. And that's without building an engine like you have done.
Hope your luck changes man

So a quick non informative update, Since its basically winter I planned on tearing the car apart and fixing my leak but I got to thinking why would I do all this work and not put cams in it? So I'm going to start saving for some cams and springs so I can rev a little higher and have some more top end.

Not sure what cams yet, any imputs?

Well, I have no idea how long its been setting now but I finally have a few days to my self and its finally warm enough for me to not worry about RTV not setting up in the garage. So I'm working on reassembling it and hopfully no more oil leak. The goal is to have it running tormorrow so I can look for leaks.

If I buy another car its going to be a cts-v. But I would much rather drive my car over buying another car.

Man I can relate without being able to drive my car over 2.5 years due to shop woes. Rather than a cts-v just put a SC LS in the Z Half import/half mullet and a ton of power to not give a ****!
