Procharged G35
So I brought the car home and one of my charge pipes came off so I coudnt get any boost action. Once I got my charge pipe put back on took the car out for a quick spin. All I can say is OMFG and thats shifting at 5k cant wait to get it 100% done.
Well the car is not loving me right now, Went to close the sunroof last night and heard some grinding so did some reading and thought it just needed a reset so reset it and heard alot more and so i took the glass out of my sunroof and found alot of broken plastic. So now i need a new Sunroof and not to mention BOTH of my windows are starting to act up so may need to replace both of them...
the top pulley(largest on procharger bracket) doesn't look like its pushed all the way on. Also i saw youve had difficulty changing pulleys. The secret to it I learned is to used a torch to heat the center of the pulley and since its aluminum will expand faster than the steel drive shaft. It will go on and off a lot easier when heated, and if not sometimes just needs a good tap from a hammer cushioned by a piece of wood. This also applies to vortech when I had my v2 on my old maxima.
Well lesson of the day is a very expensive one,"Remove the steel bracket under the IVT
Solenoid on the driver’s side next to the dipstick." After completing this step for the somehow the bolt never got reinstalled that actually holds the IVT into place. So on the dyno yesterday this came loose and i lost about 1/2 of oil and now my motor is seized. As soon as i get the car home today ill drain the oil and see if there is any metal shavings in the oil.

Well didn't get much more accomplished, apprently i need to add some more tools to the tool collection.
Damn Cam Shaft Bolts were a pain in the *** to get out, took two of us to break them free.

Back timing chain cover removed.

Removed the lower intake runners.

Need to go buy 10MM and 8MM allen key to get these bastards out, using my allen set and a breaker bar wasn't working.

Well when I maxed out my injectors I hit 10psi and made 355. Then whem i go. t the new injectors i hit 12psi and made 365. But on the next pull is when the motor locked up so i think those numbers are erroneous. Side note timing was not messed with for those pulls and im at3175 ft above sea level.
Looks kinda like the motor was an oil burner to begin with (or at least ran very low at some point in the past), the heads are quite brown. Way more than my 140k mi greddy Z's are at least.
