AAM oil pan spacer is finally in. Was hoping not, but I will need to get another oil fitting for the spacer because they are different sizes.

Yes and no.

If you want to evacuate your crankcase gasses via intake yes you need one. If you want to evacuate to atmosphere then no. I don't recommend that option with where your turbo is.

So in your case I would say yes. Look up how to drill out your PCV valve, hook up one end of the hose to your modified PCV, then the other to where the hose from passenger valve cover connected to the intake (making sure the can is in the middle)

Then look up how a catch can works, what crank case pressure means. Your only other option (preferred, but hardest to do) is get a special catalytic converter check valve and have the crank case gasses evacuated to somewhere in your exhaust line...

Well guys. Looks like I will be doing the first start up tonight once I get the oil pan and lines done. Just finished all the the piping and the bs. It was actually a perfect fit. I thought I would have to trim the radiator support but I didn't even need to. I am going to try to get all the oil parts ran and test start without the injectors and check for leaks. If all goes good I will install the r35 injectors and schedule a date to trailer the z to PA for the Osiris rev up dyno tune.

The reason I waited to install the injectors was because I feared it may not start without a tune and I wouldn't be able to do a start up check before the tune

Oil pan spacer is on, oil feed/drain is on. Everything is finished and is ready to go but I ran into one last problem. When I installed the wastegate the rerouting pipe that goes from the wastegate to the downpipe is an inch too short from reaching the wastegate. My guess is because this kit was made for a godspeed wastegate and came with a turbonetics wg. So I came up with some solutions , both of them sadly taking time. I get a custom made pipe from a welder. Or I vent the wastegate to the atmosphere and I get a plug for the flange on the downpipe. Anybody have an idea?

okay good look. I will look into it.

Just got done starting the car for the first time. Car started and stalled first time and then started shakily and evened out. did not rev at all just let it idle. Left it on got and and look under the hood and everything looked okay. and then I looked under the car and oil was pouring out of the oil feed where the sensor is. Turned the car off and now it is very slowly still dripping. I believe I used the wrong connection and there wasn't a good seal. Will have to get a new fitting and start from there.

let me know if you get any smell inside the cabin, excessive noise etc. when dumping to atmosphere.

There probably will be noise. But should only be at full boost when the wg opens. Right?

At whatever wastegate is set at. Boost kicks in fast so pretty much you'll always be at full boost when at WOT after 3500 or whatever rpm boost kicks in.

The noise just might be annoying, but I blew my stock a/c line with the wastegate recirc tube(it has now been extended/moved out of the way)

Between work school and this junk snowbelt weather Ive had little to none motivation to work on the z. I am about the schedule the tune date. Still having trouble fitting a drain line from the turbo. There is about 1 inch to fit an oil fitting and line. Nothing seems to be working. This is the only thing left on the whole project and I might just have the shop figure it out because I am very annoyed by it haha. I've spent $100 on various lines and fittings. The drain line with the kit makes absolutely no sense. So close but so far.

Shouldn't be too bad for a competent shop to fix. What about heat? Not sure but def should use at the very least a turbo blanket and coat or wrap that intake pipe. GL..
