How long had the car been sitting without running? I've seen that form from condensation. If you live some place cold, I wouldn't worry about that. As long as the oil and coolant look fine.

I get the same milky residue under my cap as well even when I was NA on the stock block. Coolant is a green as Its been and the oil is not cloudy, looks like it's suppose to look like. Just condensation in the cap, like Mike said.

Central Texas will be high 30°s/low 40°'s in the am, then get really hot before lunch like 70-80°

So i did my first oil change earlier today and noticed i had this foam in the oil cap so i cleaned it out and changed my oil. After the oil change i took the car out and drove it for about 30 minutes so i could tune it. When i got back to the garage i opened up my oil cap and noticed it.

I live in the panhandle and it's not been that cold or hot.

There's no need for that bro, check the easiest stuff first. Check if your coolant is milky looking, as well as your motor oil. You can even check your dipstick ans see how the oil looks. If both look like coffee you have a head gasket issue, and from there replace ur head gaskets or figure out if there is another issue with the mating surface of the heads to the block. If your fluids look normal, don't worry about it.

Well hooked up all my PVC lines, and the car surged and smoked like crazy. So i disconnected the line from my plenum to the passenger side and it calmed down but still smokes. So i figure it's just pulling all the excess oil out of the valve cover. Decide to take it around the block to see if it will stop and woudn't you know it a big *** pile of oil underneath the car....Yep looks like the rear main went out...FML

I took of the PVC lines off when i had the blower on to prevent the boost from entering the crankcase. But not having them on was allowing moisture into the the oil and causing the stuff in the oil cap.

Im not sure what caused it, all i know is i really wish i could go back in time and get rid of this fkn car.

It is actually amazing how terrible your luck is. It seems as though someone is doing a poor job at some point in this process.

I think the guy who is doing a poor job is unfortunately is me. I thought I was mechanically included but I'm slowly learning that's not the case.

So what's the solution? Fix it with a reputable shop?

The car will be going back to the shop next week, and We'll see what happens from there. I wouldn't think a little vacuum pressure into the crank case would cause a main seal to go out but It appears I was/could be wrong.

If it's just the rear main seal at least you don't have to spend months diagnosing the issue. Get er' done and keep modding, bro!
