So talked to them today, the owner doesn't think its a head gasket. The compression is to good on it and unless its had sever detonation with so few miles its very unlikely to blow a head gasket. He wants me to get a borescope and look at the pistons to see if i see any pooling of coolant "i didnt see any but you cant really see the sides of the piston with this $140 borescope i rented", he would also like for me to do a Leak Down test to see if i hear anything or see what cylinder is bad. Well i don't have to tools to do it so i can't.

This is what the OWNER sent me in a E-mail just a few mins ago. "Still working on ideas for you but the one time we did have the car running we did not notice any coolant in the oil (or water) – So may be something you should wait till you get the ECU back so it can be run to figure out what is going on. I will still look later for some more info and see if anyone else was having this issue."

He is wanting me to run the car...WTF im not trying to hurt it any more than its already been hurt.

Yea, I'm omw to buy an air compressor and leak down tester. So we'll see what's really going on tonight. Any tips I've never done a leak down test

So i did the leak down test and every cylinder is at 26-28% leakage. Keep in mind this engine only has ~35 miles or so on it and its cold. The only place i'm hearing air escape from is the oil cap. So does that mean my Head gaskets are fine or is air taking the path of least resistance and not going through the head gaskets since its such an easy path through my rings??? But regardless i'm still getting coolant in my oil.

I fear this engine is toast. If it were mine, I'd be insisting for the builder to redo it or at least agree to a 2nd opinion review. Sorry bud.

at this point, this might be a really good option ... agree with the builder that something isn't right, agree to get a second opinion and go from there.

I agree with RCDash. A rebuild may be in order instead of guessing what's wrong, maybe opening up the motor and looking at the internal components will finally give you the answers to the way your motor is operating. It sux, I feel soo bad for you but instead of wasting money diagnosing and having to pay shops to tell you more bad news, just start from square 1.

Monday i'm going back to the shop to find out WTF is going to happen...I not happy and it's feeling like they want to give me the run around trying to figure out what it could be.

There is only two place water and oil come close water pump and back of the heads. I pulled off the water pump access plate and didn't notice anything leaking. I should have done this with pressure applied to the system but didn't think about it in time. So its has to be the back of the heads didn't seal correctly.

This sucks, I want to pull the engine and start opening it up just so this whole fiasco is done and over, but I want not part of it....

Just out of curiosity, have you tried doing a coolant pressure test with the oil pan off to see where the coolant coming from while you have the system pressurized? If you’re having decent compression/leak down numbers and not seeing bubbles in the coolant when doing the tests most likely your head gaskets are fine. Have you checked your factory oil cooler? or could it be a crack in the block somewhere?

I did pressuize the coolant system with the lower pan off and that is how I found out I had a coolant leak. I assume you meant with the upper pan off though, I don't personally plan on opening up this engine unless the shop tells me to get bent. I no longer have the oil cooler so it's not mixing there. I wish I would have applied pressure to the coolant system with the water pump access panel off though to ensure it wasn't seal around the water pump. I'm praying there isn't a crack in the block if that's the case idk wtf I'm going to do.

That sucks man.
When you had the lower pan off, where did you see coolant coming from?
