Quick rundown on problems.
Milky oil cap...I'm letting moisture into my valve covers by not having my PVC system capped off. I had it venting to atmosphere to relieve the excess crank case pressure when I had my blower. And now that I'm N/A and living in Florida where it's 95% humidity most of the time it's letting moisture in. Once I hooked up the PVC system it smoked really really badly, I have a eBay catch can I just need to figure out where to mount it.
No idea if hooking up my PVC system would have messed up my rear main or what not but it didn't start pssing oil until after I hooked back up my PVC system...
Still no idea what or why there is a tick in the heads, but it's causing my knock sensor to go crazy. It's picking up >500 when just cruising around at 10-15% throttle up to 3k to me.
So it's very possible I caused the rear main to go out but I don't see how my cars vacuum pressure causes a rear main to let go...FML

I agree. This is what I did with the shop that did my build.
Conway, I hope they bite the cost honestly, if it's nothing you did, it's their responsibility imo, and I would let them know how much of an inconvenience the whole ordeal is. If they won't work with you, I believe there is a Shop Review thread here where you can post your opinion/warning etc.
Anyways, I hope they fix it correctly for you. You've suffered enough how long this build it taking. Keep the faith.

So i heard back from the shop, this is what they said:
"The guys were able to take a look at your car yesterday. Here is what they found:
Driver side cam solenoid leaking and needs replaced
both valve covers leaking and need replaced
leaking slightly at rear corners
rear main seal possibly leaking-he said there was too much there and too wet to be able to tell for certain but it looks like it.
check engine light on
looking at like 10-11 hours to fix everything plus parts."
After talking with them the rear main and valve cover gaskets were reused from when i dropped the motor off. And its the actual VVT solenoid that needs replaced not the O-ring. I have another VVt Solenoid so that will save me a few hundred.
As for the Check engine light thats from my MAF not working correctly its now showing air across it but is still giving me AITs so im not worried about it since im using a MAP sensor. Also its calling forward O2 sensors but they arn't hooked up.
I'm still waiting to hear if they was able to diagnose the tick in the head, but i doubt it since it has a bad rear main.

Are you financially responsible for these repairs? Are they cutting you a break on price?
