I did have some belt slip initially, but they were able to to deal with it by just tightening it up a bit. If I go up to a 2.87 and more boost I am certain I will need what you have pictured above. Is there a kit for that second pulley and brace somewhere? BTW, that is super nice set up. I added in some engine dress up parts.

Thanks.....

Yes, but what second pulley?

Like this you mean?

It's not a Kit, they are LSX Pulleys.

When you go to the 2.87 you will want to do a different type of air filter, that little one just eats up a ton of horse power, Thru the radiator support with a huge filter.

Why are the clearances on the Vortech so tight? No other kit I've seen is that tight everywhere. GTM, HKS, Procharger, look way friendlier in that department

But at least with the Vortech you have interchangeability for larger blowers vs the others. Any other system you’re pretty much forced to use a specific unit.

The clearances are very tight. Kinda like the entire engine compartment. LOL. Great pictures above. Picture tells a thousand words.

What is your idle rpm with the Vortech?

Hey, could someone direct me to the pieces to move the intake over to the driver side space? I bought the following, but held off on figuring out everything I needed to make it work as I just had many other pieces to get installed etc. I want to gather up what I need, so the next time I need to take the front bumper off I can do it. The main thing is what do I need to get from the supercharger diameter and then through that air flow opening? Here is what I bought that is sitting my my garage currently.

With the stock motor & V2 Vortech Idle was about 825 rpm, with the built motor & V7 YSi 975 rpm

This is what I did for the Vortech Intake. This is a Bigger 4 inch diameter to fit the V7 YSi, for the V2 or V3 you would do a 3-1/2 inch

Did you have to shave a bit for the 4” to fit?
