This is the best tranny cooler you can throw in the front of your car and includes a fan that will trigger on at defined temps. I've had 3 people on here, shops and customers tell me to use one cooler type or another so I decided to talk to a dragcar shop and they recommended this product that they use on their builds.

I just like doing things a little different than the norm. It can be mounted up front if you like.

I have the larger unit plus an oil cooler and intercooler in the front of my car. Of course I have a cut out front bumper...

Interesting approach Coach. I was thinking of doing this to unclutter the front. I wonder how much air get's back there though... Also, I'd heat shield the fawk out of those lines being so close to the mufflers. I have my lines completely covered in heat shield anywhere they come close to heat emitters.

Lol ur correction is 100% true, so you think that the stock front bumper wont clear all of those ?

I mounted the smaller BM trans cooler in the area behind the drivers side bumper right in front of the left wheel. Fits perfect. You will need a welder to mock up the bracket.

Good to see these coolers aren't that expensive at all. I think its a must have and a good precaution. How hard is it to install?

I really don't know if the bigger one will fit up front. Mine is the smaller one.

Thnx for the pic, why didnt you mount it somewhere near to the opening of the bumper, it will be better so that air + fan will cool it ?

Aesthetics. I didn't like it in front of my IC. My Oil Cooler is on the driver's side in the same fashion. I removed my Corner Reflectors and meshed it over to allow ventilation. Also cut up the rear fenderliner a bit to reduce pressure in the wheel well.

That should work well. Also, you can do vents to the cooler too.
