GL with the build and give us more reviews ,, i just installed my B&M tranny cooler, its great!! very good cooling and awesome quality, you should go with it ,,

ive also noticed that before the tranny cooler sometimes under the center console you will feel its a bit hot (maybe in kuwait only) but after the tranny cooler, the in-cabin heat is reduced alot!

Got my car back and it shifts a lot harder.
Top of the shifter doesn't get as hot as it used to but still gets warm after 30+min of driving.

The higher stall converter makes it drive kind of funny.
I don't think I would get this mod unless it is really a drag car.

Overall its an big improvement, but now I'm going through tires like crazy.

I'm considering moving on to a MT for a more versatile setup and to support more HP.

How is it for normal driving? I'd love the firmer shifts but not if the shifts are too jerky or harsh during crusing/commuting.

ditto, normal driving is not affected.

As for the TC, it seems like its just slipping until it hits the 3k mark, or like its bogging.
Maybe its a tuning issue, but I never had this problem before.

I've noticed that since its gotten hotter out, my AFR is low 11, high 10; before it was mid-high 12s

I went down from a TC stall of close to 4k back towards 3k to get back more of the stock feel. Even with the very high stall converter, it should catch very early on and although it feels "mushy" below the stall point (because it's designed to slip below that), you should be able to pick up speed with very little applied throttle, keeping rpms around 2000.

I have the valve body upgrade an just got a code P1759. It's a front brake soleniod code. You you think this code is related to the VB upgrade?

thats exactly how it feels, thanks for clarifying that nothing is wrong with my tranny =)

Almost feels like boost/vtec kicking in at 2800rpm (Stall)

I got all my upgrades at AAM except for a new tune for my 9 lbs. pulley which I got at Function Tuned. I think the UTEC may be the culprit. I get an EVAP code every time I fill the tank, but this P1759 code is the first time I got it. And to be fair, I was driving the car hard a laying wheels all over the place. I cleared the codes last week and they have not returned thus far.

I just got my transmission rebuilt and put back in a few weeks ago. It is a HUGE difference from stock. I will re-dyno, but with this transmission putting the power to the ground (as opposed to slipping), it feels like 50-100 WHP gain! The transmission is predictable now as well. Before it was firm then slow and mushy and you never knew what was going to happen.

So far the pros and cons.
Pros:
1. Firm, quick shifts
2. Reliable and predictable
3. Way more power gets to the wheels
4. Drives smoothly during normal driving

Cons:
1. Going to cost me more for tires; I need something stickier
2. I can haz traction plz?

Here is what was done to my transmission:

Alto Direct Power Pack Kit
Alto Input Power Pack Kit
Alto Hi-Low Reverse Kit
Alto Reverse Brake Kit
Alto Seal & Gasket Kit
Nissan Brake Bank (For 03-06 350z VQ35de Transmission)
Trans Go Valve Body Kit
Pro Torque Converter
Nissan 350z Front Pump
Nissan Input Piston & Drum Assembly 350z
3rd Sun Gear Assembly
Built Valve Body
Built Transmission
Labor to remove and re-install transmission

In other words, it now works! The way it should have the first time around. Congrats! Now you just have to hold on and flick your finger while you watch the world turn into a blur around you.

Yea, that's a good way to put it! The paddle shifters are awesome, btw!

Is it normal that my 1/4 times got way worse due to traction issues? At this boost with the stock trans, I was putting down 525. I'm thinking it may be over 575 or 600 WHP with the new transmission and I was running on stock tires (*edit street tires) with 35 PSI. I was running like 14.1 at 97mph with a 60' of about 2.5-2.9.
