Default HELP: E-manage

HI all,

I was wondering why is that on my e-manage I can not see the "Airflow Meter Hot Wire (V)".

First on the parameter setting I unchecked the Greddy Pressure sensor, and then I opened the inj. map and I had nothing on that drop down menu.

Does anybody know why I can't see it?

Az

The reason you arent seeing anything is becuase Greddy doesnt use the airflow hotwire map at all. It is blank.

The only map they is the "Add injector" map.

Yes, but when I open the add injector map... you see the top row is RPM and the left colum is ?? should be the airflow hot wire (V), right? but on my e-manage I have blank on the left colum.

Just like in this pic, you know what I mean? it does not have any numbers.

Thanks

I am confused...in the first picture, you have the hotwire in the drop down. If you uncheck the "pressure sensor box", then there will be nothing to "drop down". If you check the box "greddy pressure sensor", then you will have the option of hotwire, or pressure sensor. Does that make sense, or I am not understanding your question?

Either way...dont worry. If you have voltage going down the side, from 0-5V, then you are fine

If the dials in the front are set to 7-0-B, you will not see the option for MAF. Make sure they are set to 7-0-1

You are 1000% right

I was just one the phone with Darryl from Ultimate Racing, and he walked me through the whole thing and we got that part worked out. Now he will send me a safe map to start working with and I will see if I do gain some power back

But again thank you for the info

aalzuhair,

Sounds like you figured it out but just to double check everything, you should be running the following:

7-0-1 on the front dials
Firmware version 1.39
Support Tool Version 1.13

As long as you have that, you're set.

PS: I burned a coil yesterday, the car will be up and running by Sunday. I already ordered a new coil and a GReddy pressure harness and the I will be using ACP pressure based map I will keep you all posted on my experience with this map.

You've got a PM about version 1.13

Make sure that you unplug the 12-wire harness (ignition) when the car is not running and the ignition is turned to the "On" position. Otherwise you will burn coils. I assume this is what happened to you?

Man ohhhh Man ..... Its kind of a good news bad news situation.

The bad news is that I have 3 burned coils, but the good news is that I know its not the engine and I know how to fix this problem so I don't burn another coil, thanks to you guys ACP, Chris and GQ.

Ok here are some pic of two of the burned coils
