Default What are u guys using for A/F reading device?

Im shopping for a wideband AF kit. Which one is better, the M500 PLX or Dynojet wideband kit?
The nice thing about the M500 is that its wireless, but i like the dynojet one because because of the warning light built in the gauge, better quality and overall more compelete kit.

Anyone using the dynojet wideband here? What do u use guys?

FJO wideband

http://www.fjoracing.com/

Very sweet set-up....plus data logging. Not as jumpy as the AEM either.

I looked at the AEM Uego wideband kit, but i didnt like it because it doesnt read under 11 A/F or has a warning light... What good is a gauge when it cant give u a warning light if u leaned out. I have three other things to monitor when racing which is really hard to do. That is why the DJ Wideband is more appealing.

The FJO is a nice unit too. My friend used the AEM and FJO and he said the FJO was better. Both dont have a warning capability though. Also alot of people are using the LM1 and like it.

Huh , the new PLX guage looks pretty much like an AEM unit.

WRT a warning light. The A.F guage is good for diagnosing a problem, but in reality briefly crossing into a lean state is not going to be catastrophic unless it results in detonation or pre-ignition. If money is not the object I would use a JandS safeguard as the unlitmate "warning" indicator and if it fires and de-times , then scan the A/F , Fuel PSI , Boost guages for root causes. IMO.
The JandS not only gives you a light it offers automatic protection to boot..

I really like the PLX Software.

If money is not the primary object I would recommend a JandS safeguard as the ultimate "warning" indicator and if it fires and de-times , then scan the A/F , Fuel PSI , Boost guages for root causes. I really like the PLX Software and the ablity to aquire several addtional signals such as MAP, PSI, TPS etc....

I dont know what u mean by WRT? What you are saying makes sense for a 350Z, but i have another software that reads everything such as TPS, Timing, Knock, IAT, etc... The only thing i need is to read the AF since I'm going to modify my VE tables after the MAF maxes out around 4800RPM. So any change in weather could lean or richen the car which is why a warning light is a good idea. I dont have a 350Z, but i figured u guys are more into these stuff than the LS1 guys. I didnt get that much reply there so i decided to ask here and see if anyone is using the DynoJet AF kit.
