Well this video is the reason why I am actually buying a Z. I seen this clip on T.V and I was blown away how fast this car launched. I jumped online to check out what new companies have created turbo kits for the Z and was pleasantly surprised that there were quite a few kits to choose from.

I always loved the Z and looked into buying one in 2003 but in stock form it was not enough power for me. I was not really interested in n/a mods so it was not a car I had considered until I watched that clip.

 

I don't think he hit the wall. I think that is why the crowd was cheering. He got real close though.

I wonder if they're in 4-digit whp... Also, what size drags are those? Looks equivalent of 315 or 335/345 streets, with regards to width.

 

Yes they are over 1000 whp an they are using 325/50/15 BFG drag radials.. current best time is a 8.33 @176
