Any estimate on when we'll see some prototype numbers? I'm sure a bunch of people (msyelf included) are going to have to make a decision tomorrow morning if they want in on the Kinetix GB or to stick it out for the 350evo part... I'm guessing that if the Kinetix puts out decent enough numbers, the looks alone will make people want it.

I will not be able to release anything until we have a solid design ready for production. Like I have stated before I am just as anxious as everyone else on this.
Good things come to those that wait.

I think you guys that are disappointed need to realize what's being compared here. Unless you have a complete solution for the entire manifold, all the upper intake manifold & spacers out there will have near similar results (including Hydrazine's, AAM's Angled, APS's upcoming, Crawford's plenum, the old/new kinetix, etc). Don't get me wrong, the new Kinetix manifold is absolutely gorgeous of all the current solutions out there, but I think people overhyped it. You can only do so much when dealing with only upper manifold.

The same would apply if 350EVO released only their upper intake manifold, you'd also see similar numbers between what's already out there. However, 350EVO is working on an entire solution (replaces the whole OEM manifold). They are probably the only company right now that will produce the desired N/A results people are looking for. Otherwise, don't bash on Kinetix just because their numbers are too close to Brand X's plenum/spacer.

Personally, I would have gone for the new Kinetix (because I'm really into the appearance of how my engine bay looks), Crawford's Plenum, or 350 EVO's upcoming solution, but I won a black powder coated cast Crawford plenum for free from Crawford a few weeks ago at ZAttack in Nashville, TN. Since I wanted one of these 3 upper intake manifolds anyway, I'm going to stick with my Crawford one. I like how it looks in my engine bay and it performs very well. Those of you who haven't done anything to the upper manifold are in a very good position right now. Kinetix, hands down, is the most beautiful and performs just as well (if not better) than the other guys' solutions.

Umm the new Kinetix replaces both the upper and lower manifold, plus it really doesn't look all that good since it will sit off center in the engine bay. Until a better NA application arrives (hopefully 350EVO) then the polished Crawford plenum still gets my vote for the best overall value and looks for NA and FI applications. The dynos done with the new Kinetix and FI are really not proven yet until some more people start dynoing with it as people have seen similar spikes in numbers at the high rpm range with Crawford plenums because of A/F ratios going a bit leaner towards redline.

My reply was a cut & paste to other Kinetix threads, so I didn't proofread. As for being wrong, my fault for not knowing it is an upper & lower plenum. My apologies, but if that's the case, shouldn't it get even better numbers? All in all, it seems good though, especially for the bling factor. Now all we gotta do is wait for 350EVO's product.

did u just realize this?

wheres my "dunce" hat!?

i think the only good attribute about ANYTHING KINETIX is the price. they are CHEAP! (parts seem to reflect that- when compared with 350EVO)

Well. I don't think this new manifold by them is by any means cheap. Just the appearance alone looks solid.

I just discovered this thread...I want to scream and make love to a beautiful woman, but my roommate's asleep (dorm life) and i don't know any beautiful women willing to make love to me. Oh well, I am almost incapable of containing myself, thanks for pushing the R&D

Patiently waiting...
