Default Intake Plenums and nitrous????

I have a 75-100 shot of nitrous in my Z, and I was wondering if anyone know if it would be fine to spray with my new Kinetix V4 plenum? For those who dont know, the V4 is made out of a high-durable type of plastic.

hmm i was wondering the same thing, but i believe it is fine as long as you dont purge into your engine and you have an external purge. I believe that prevents your intakes from blowing up. Someone please correct me if im wrong.

radiator or oil pan i'd think no

you don't want your oil to be too cold - could damage the engine

same with the coolant

I've seen a friend EXPLODE a Kinetix V4 with a 100shot at the track...

He was running a very safely set-up wet kit with filtered solenoids, NX computer, external purge, etc. and it still went kaboom. He managed a 12.96 on 19" street tires with the kinetix blowing a hundred meters or so from the line.

I would never run nitrous on a plastic manifold no matter how thick and durable of plastic it is.

Nope, just as easy as plastic.

the stock z tube stinks for mounting the nozzle. The plastic is very soft and rubbery.

when you tighten down the mounting bung (on an NX kit) the soft stoxck intake tube deforms. It prevents you from tightening it all the way down.

It is not that the tube leaks or anything, but when removing the tube, the mounting bung can move (changing the direction of the spray nozzle)

It is kind of dificult to explain, but a harder tube would be preferable. I have noticed that the stock tube gets harder the furthwer away from the throttle body you get. Most companies recommend hat you mount the nozzle between 2-6" from the TB though,
