If you're looking for deep tone, I don't think this is the exhaust for you. The Borla TD is known for being very deep. You may also want to look at the Nismo.

I have the exhaust. Make it out to the next meet and you can hear it first hand.

I answered your PM the best that I could; however, I never make comments about sound. One owner says exotic and another says rice. Too subjective. Before anyone buys an exhaust I suggest that they listen first hand.

I had it before. YOu'll notice a signifigant loss of low end power/tq. With test pipes it is very raspy.

I think this is in your head... a few people make a comment about feeling TONS of torque gone, and everybody thinks they feel it too after that.

That said, I didn't notice any losses down low.

And to the guy up above who said "if you want a deep exhaust, this isn't the one for you".... have you actually HEARD an Injen exhaust? I don't know if you can get any deeper than it... except by adding test pipes to it...

I posted a thread about the new Tanabe Medalion Touring exhaust. I heard it in person and it sounds very nice and deep... if I buy an exhaust this is going to be the one.

Plus it's new, so you won't have what everyone else has

The injen exhaust is deep as hell with test pipes period. As far as the rasp coming from the pipes, it doesn't happen til you hit almost 4 grand on up on the tach. To be totally honest the rasp sounds good if your really getting on it. If your driving normal I shift at 3.5 to prevent the rasp and another thing is the exhaust is loud too.

People can say a million different things about this exhaust. So just keep that in mind ----I dont' have it on my car, but I had the displeasure of hearing it on a car in person. I am not even exagerrating that it was the worst sounding namebrand full catback setup I have EVER heard on ANY car - flowmaster, borla, greddy, APS, magnaflow, or whatever.

Now factor in, it has less than 2" piping and it is a poor choice of exhausts in my opinion. Once you hear it in person for the first time, you will know if you love or hate the exhaust note (hate the sound of it with a passion in my case)

No point in being polite. Come on now. Tell us how you really feel?

LOL. I am not a big sound freak. After installing the cat back I just accepted the sound. Same with the headers and high-flow cats. Members will ask what does it sound like? All I can say is that it sounds like what it sounds like.

I haven't been following too closely but I thought I read somewhere that it should be out real soon. It has the burnt titanium tips and an h-pipe.
