Question Engine Light from Test pipes

I've done the non fouler technique and the light did not go away. Do I need to drive around for awhile? any ideas?

Did you try clearing the SES light by disconnecting the battery or the multi-step method?

u should of went to autozone to check out the code first to determine if u really needed the non fouler. It's free to use and takes less than 1 minute to find out the problem.

do that; codes don't usually disappear as soon as the problem is fixed...usually takes a while (or until u rest the memory). if you reset it and it comes back, then the non-foulers didn't work.

The light will not go out by itself - you have to clear the CEL with the pedal or the battery disconnect method first. After 200 miles - you'll know if it worked or not.

Well I have Nismo headers, Strup test pipes and Nismo exhaust, and it was a bit loud at first but after 400-500 miles it seems to either have gotten a bit quieter, or my hearing is not what it use to be and I am use to the sound.

you're just used to the sound

when I got my headers+hfc I was like

No wi'm like 'that's it?'

But people are still like when I drive by, so it's just as loud, my hearing just got used to it ^_^
