Default My Strup Headers/Test Pipes *PICS*

I just recieved my Strup headers and test pipes last week thanks to Charlie at Strup Performance. If you are not familiar with my build you can see it here:

https://my350z.com/forum/shop-builds/317810-my-z33art-custom-supercharger-build-pics.html

PICS:

I have to say that the quality is very good and I am excited to have them on my car soon! I do not have an expected horsepower increase on my setup but they will definitly help my supercharger kit make some more power.

Overall I am extremely satisfied thus far with my choice to use Strup and I will be sure to post pictures of them installed ASAP!

Ryan

I would recommend a jet-hot coat on the headers. Cost about $200.

I've been thinking about doing that while they are off. Still on the fence but will most likely do it.

I have the same headers. I just got a quote the other day. It will sure help with the heat.
Also I have been watching your build thread. I must say quite impressive.

Definitely do the coating. Reduces engine temps greatly. Prolongs the life of all your rubber, plastic, wiring... oh, and it's good for a little more power.

I'm sure you know those things, though. I coated the headers on my E46. Cooler underhood temps than with stock manifolds.

Headers look nice! Good luck with the install.

Lol.

The funny thing is that JT at PF and I were just talking the other day about how insanely long projects can take to get to there final results.

While I am happy to run these headers/test pipes it is just one more thing to push it back a bit longer.

Oh no doubt. I'm just hoping that my simple Vortech install/tune won't take as long as your project I keep looking at more and more parts to add on with it though, so you never know

I found out that I am a distributor for Jet-hot at 928M. However, for now I am going to run them normal and gauge the under-hood temps and go from there.
