Default Pop-Charger

Does anyone know much about the JWT Pop-Charger w/Heat Shield? It sounds pretty spiffy from what I've read. Just don't know if it would produce more than what the stock set-up is now.

Default Pop Charger

Mine has been on about 3 weeks, and I like it. I can't really tell if there is any HP gains or not, but it gave my Z a little more growl. Nice Sound, but not to loud, especially when escalerating. People have started to turn their heads to see it.

For under a $150.00 total it was a wothwhile modification.

Is the installation pretty easy? I've heard that it's a pain putting the heat shield in.

No not at all, the heat shield clamps down on a "ledge" in the engine bay. Pop Charger is incredible sounding. Dynoed at 6.5 hp...

The more I think about it, the more I think I should have gotten the pop charger with the Injen top pipe. the one failure of the AEM kit is the small secondary tube. I think the OD is only 2.75" which is not that wide compared the the Injen kit, or even the stock intake tube!

What does the pop charger go for?

Pop Charger will give you 2hp if that. But it sounds mean and throughty and with a Borla duel it all sounds so powerful. For the sound the Borla dual and JWT popcharger is a great match, IMHO.

haha! that's my car! where idd you find those pics. i knew they were online here...but, i forgot where they were put! (i've added anotehr grounding wire since then. the nismo kit is going on monday...and the stereo is being custom fabricated the week after!!)

let me know where you got those pics. i can't find them on the forum! haha.

as for HP....can tell a TINY bit. nothign as drastic as 7HP though. also, it adds a little whine since it's sucking in more air....sort of sounds like a turbo spooling up! haha.
