Default Helix Tp's Weird Noise!! Help?????

ALRIGHT GUYS I HAD PURCHASED NON-RESONATED HELIX TP'S LAST WEEK AND INSTALLED THEM. AS SOON AS I PUT THEM ON(I HAVE A TOPSPEED PRO1 EXHAUST) I NOTICED A RATTLE/ HISING NOISE COMING FROM MID CAR. I BLEW IT OFF. THEN I NOTICED IT WOULD DO IT WHEN ID LET OFF THE GAS. I CAN REV IT TO ABOUT 4K RPM AND IT RATTLE/HISS AGAIN.
IT IS NOT AN EXHAUST LEAK CHECKED THAT. LONG STORY SHORT TP'S WHERE LOUD AND ANNOYING SO I TOOK THEM OFF AND PUT KINETIX HFC'S AND THE RATTLE/HISS IS GONE.

NEXT WE PUT THE HELIX TP'S ON MY COUSINS Z WHICH HE HAS A STOCK EXHAUST AND POP CHARGER. THE RATTLE/HISS IS BACK NOW ON HIS CAR COMING FROM THE SAME SPOT. WE LIFTED THE CAR BACK UP ON THE LIFT AND I HAD MY COUSIN REV IT. IT WAS ABOUT MID CAR COMING FROM THE Y-PIPE, WE CHECKED ALL THE OTHER PARTS OF THE EXHAUST, THE LOUDEST AND MOST NOTICABLE NOISE WAS COMING FROM THE Y-PIPE.

MY ? IS WHAT DOES HE HAVE TO DO TO MAKE THE RATTLE/HISS STOP? IS IT CAUSE SO MUCH AIR IS FLOWING THROUGH THE TEST PIPES IT MAKES THE Y-PIPE DO THAT CAUSE ITS SO RESTRICTED?
WOULD A AFTERMARKET Y-PIPE HELP DELETE THIS NOISE??

PLEASE LMK YALLS INPUT THANKS

iight now to your question ...I to have helix tp's , running any testpipe on a stock exhaust will sound bad(USUALLY, there are exceptions)....in my situation i had a popcharger, helix tp, and stock exhaust sounded TERRIBLE......now i have the same thing with a 3/8 spacer and injen ses ti exhaust ...Sounds amazing...seems to me like the helix tp are very touchy with what you put with them...also make sure all your bolts are tight in up by the headers..........just my .02

The hissing sound is very common.

Someone told me it's coming from the y-pipe flex joints. Something about the flex joints expanding and contracting. I really don't know the legitimate answer. Hissing occurs on almost every setup that runs test pipes. I doubt adding aftermarket y-pipe will help because I heard setups with aftermarket y-pipes that also have hissing sounds.

One thing is for sure though, the rattle is not normal. I have the hissing sound, but I definitely do not have a rattling sound. Somewhere under the car there is metal-to-metal contact and that's causing your rattling.
