Installed JWT Dual Pop Chargers
I just thought I'd write this up for anyone considering installing dual pop chargers in their HR.
Installation took about 2 hours. The instructions were pretty straightforward but there were a few steps that weren't very much in detail (clamps for ex.) Another thing was making sure the heat shields did not touch any piping or any other 'hardware' as they called it.
I unplugged the battery and let the car sit for about 2-3 hours, then I started it up and let it sit idle for about 15 - 20 mins. The sound was the biggest difference. From start up the car whistles now and when you are idle and rev the engine there is a more aggressive whistle sound.
I took it out for a drive from my local neighborhood all the way to the high way. When cruising under 40 MPH there really is no difference at all. The car was very similar to when I had the stock airboxes. I approached an off ramp and let it rip in 3rd gear and my god I have never heard something so intimidating. Once you get over about 50 MPH from 2nd to 3rd and into 4th, there is a really aggressive sound like a vortex spinning or something it is hard to describe and it makes it sound like you have something under the hood (apart from the intakes like a turbo or something to the average guy).
Also it was 102* degrees yesterday in Nor-Cal here so I was looking for heat-soak. The sound really comes alive past 3500 RPM and past 45-50 MPH. I also have NISMO exhaust and it sounded great.
In terms of power, on the butt dyno it feels like the response and power is the same under 3500 RPM, definitely no power boost or anything. Felt very similar to the stock airboxes but the car really woke up past 3500 and it feels like there is a little more power but nothing that makes you jump out of your seat.
I did not experience heat-soak unless I was sitting at a light and getting up to 20 MPH-30 MPH, the car felt a little sluggish but was not screaming heat-soak at me. I think this is where the stock airbox has an advantage over the pop chargers. Once you are past the 30-40MPH mark the car runs fine, no sign of heat-soak.
In the end this mod is good for people looking for a more throatier-agressive sound from their exhaust, don't expect to feel like you gained a ton of HP or anything, didn't feel much on the butt dyno until I let it rip after 50 MPH + like I said.
Cost me about $300 and It was worth it! Gives the car a great sound and you feel like you are driving a new car again--kinda!
Here is a engine bay pic.

I want to drive the car on a cooler day to see how it runs as well because it was blazing yesterday

OP great mod, you just need a few other parts and tune to optimise it.
I love how people who really have no clue about heat soak post about it.
Does an intake make a difference in heat soak NO, pleneum change POSSIBLE, radiator POSSIBLE, test pipes YES , changing from cast iron to aluminum heads YES

Yes it feels like I need a tune, at times the mods do not feel in sync with each other and then at other times it feels like the car is a beast. .this will be my next option after HFC's. Thanks guys!
Quick question,
Prior to the pop chargers, my 'sweet spot' where I would always shift was @ 3000RPM or anywhere from 2800-3200, now I find myself shifting closer to 4000 RPM for some reason because it's like the old sweet spot I had is now at 4000 RPM.
Can anyone explain why I am shifting at higher RPM's now?

Good review.
I personally will stick with my stock HR airboxes and use the $300-$400 to buy a PS3 and some Blu-rays. The Sony machine will be much more entertaining in the long run.
