PM's are private and should stay private and I think it is uncool to post PM's that's all on that. All Bark it won't be any different, it's a new product and you have hundreds of people here ready to pick it apart, just keep in mind that some one poster may be 5 handles and doesn't even own a Z!

That's what keeps me going bro! Don't quit man, handle your business man!

damn... people are getting WAY too wound up over a $400 chunk of metal (or plastic for you kinetix peeps).

Look guys, all HFM and his boys did was spend time and money to show the rest of us his OWN experience with a product. How many times have we seen on this forum (and others) a thread from someone asking for an opinion about a product based on experience? HUNDREDS. Damn near thousands. All from people who have the product, or have experienced the product firsthand. Nobody has ever complained (to this extent at least) when someone says "that exhaust sucks" or "I'm not that crazy about that bodykit". This should be no different. A plenum is just another mod. People have VARYING experiences with mods, let's face it. Most people say the popcharger is great and they love it, but I've seen posts where people don't agree and decide to take it off for one reason or another. Are they flamed for it by pro-popcharger peeps? No. It's their own damn car, and it's their own damn money. It's THEIR GOD DAMN CHOICE. All you plenum lovers need to chill and just let the rest of us who are sitting on the fence make our own decision in terms of whether to get the plenum or not. Don't get personally offended if someone makes an opinion about the plenum that doesn't agree with your own. If you were fortunate enough to have a good experience with it, raise your hands up and shout out "(insert your name here) is the big winner! (insert your name here again) wins!". GOOD FOR YOU! Share your experience with others. But don't question the integrity of your peers if they don't have a similar experience with you. Perhaps you should question the integrity of the product instead. Or just consider yourself lucky.

I don't quite understand why these guys have to defend themselves for putting in the time and money to test something that they weren't even going to keep anyways! Personally I'm thankful to them for giving people like me more information to help me decide. If I knew these guys, hell I would've pitched in to help or at least brought them a case of beer, cuz I'm the type of consumer that likes to see proof firsthand before I buy. Call me crazy. 350zdanny posted his dynos, and I'm grateful to that too. But I don't appreciate this flaming ******** that 1) makes these otherwise informative threads more annoying to read and 2) make me realize what a bunch of ungrateful whiny oversensitive crotch pigeons some of you guys are. IT'S JUST ANOTHER MOD. (We're not talking about your gf, or your mom, or even your ride as a whole. Relax.)

Sorry for the long post. Just had to vent. My thanks to HFM and his crew for posting this. I hope this thread doesn't turn off other people from posting their experiences/dynos/opinions in the future.

If someone is respectful and speaks to me like I speak to them, thier pm's will remain private, but if he wants to post on the board about how Im a @ss and "your got a pm big dog" trying to look like a tuff guy, I will post his pm's to me all day long.

90% of the people on this board are ****** anyways.

I pretty much agree with you, and yea I am going to defend myself when someone calls me a hack. It is a little insulting when someone says my dynos were butchered because I don't have any vested interests in anything that has to do with Crawford. I just did this for my own knowledge, posted the results and shared it.

If you consider what I said flaming, then by all means consider it flaming. But this thread was good and polluted with ******** before I got here.

Dan

Chris -

I don't have a damn bit of respect for you and I really don't care if you posted my PM. I only sent it in a PM because I didn't want to make more work for Victor. Like I said, I was just sharing knowledge for the sake of sharing it. If you want to drag Crawford's product through the mud for whatever reason, leave me out of it. I did my best with the dynos.

All_bark -

Good luck to you. I hope you get some good results with the plenum, even though most people are going to take them with a grain of salt now (not me). What might be the saving grace for the Kinetix plenum is that it does retain all the stock parts and it looks alot better than the stock plenum. Even if it doesn't make alot of power, it is still a cool mod.

HFM -

I still give you credit for getting this done. I know firsthand that this is expensive. $200 may be nothing to some people, but when you add in all the time it takes to install/uninstall, get to the dyno, dyno, and post all the stuff, it's a considerable sacrifice. I would have liked to see the plenum on a stock car like you said, but ZXSaint's car will be just as good in the long run. When you look at it, some people who already have mods are going to want to buy a plenum. Now they know what to expect in conjuction with a bunch of mods. My dynos were on a basically stock car. We didn't even run a fan onto the CAI.

Im still trying to figure out how I get put on the anti-crawford side. Danny- I never said ONE negative thing about crawfords products. And the only negative thing I said about you was that your dynos cant be used for fact. I still find them accurate, Im just saying that there is merrit to critisize them.

Cant we all just get along? I LOVE YOU MAN

j/k, but really- it was nothing personal. If you wanna make it that way, we can talk about it in person.

I'm willing to drop it if you are. If you say it wasn't personal then it wasnt, I just took it that way because when you say my results are butchered it sounds like you think I wrigged them to point one way, which to me is a waste of my money.

If anyone wants to see my sheets any other way, I'd be happy to cook them up for you that way.

Never meant that YOU butchered it. I just meant that it wassnt a perfect dyno. I never said that you changed the results, it was plenty good for me- but there is lot's of room for someone to challenge the results. That's ALLLLL im trying to say.

Yea I think there always will be with anything. I just never thought of these results were going to be challenged because I wasn't a manufacturer or anything, I was just putting them up for the hell of it.

If you think about it, Z's put down as low as 210 and a high as 240whp stock on different dynos in different locations. Even if me and ZXSaint had the same mods, we still wouldn't get the same results, which sucks in a way, but in the end you just have to go for the mods you like regardless. Nothing is a sure bet when you're modding your car. There's too many variables.

I just hope since we all hashed this out today, all_bark won't get his **** ruined when he puts up his dynos tomorrow, good or bad.

KJY9, I'm pleased to report, I'm not going to have to turn into a **********.

ROFLOL....all you have to do is read all of your posts to know that in fact you already are one!

I'll repeat what I said that you left out of my post.
You want to race with your car "as-is" against me in the 1/4 ?
If so, bring 5K, let me know the place and time...as long as it's on a weekend, I'll come out to SoCal to make 5K for a few seconds of whooping up on yur azz lol

Thanks for the personal attack.

You're a class act with style and flare. Oh, and it seems like you live your life a quarter mile at a time! Man, Vin Diesel needs to take lessons from you because you are just so studly.

Internet tough guy with bulging biceps and hands so big that you have a hard time typing the usual pearls of wisdom that comes from such an amazing intellect.

KY Jelly, you and Phonenix sound like a couple big fellas with a streak of red over C1 - C5 that need to get together sometime and split a cow.

In the meanwhile, my point in responding to you remains the same. Crawford claims of gosh darn how can I lose power don't stand up.

by the way all...

failed is a harsh word and I shouldnt have used it because they did not fail... they were the first to do a plenum mod... and have set a base to work off of... only way to make a good product is get every one involved... and well... look at us all in this thread...

so disregard me saying "failed" it was the wrong word... It is hard for me to post on my cell phone while driving and at the same time think of words to say...

but any way...

(mine is still longer :P )
