Is everyone retarded on here or just 16 yrs old?!?
HFM has yet to make an intelligent post on this forum...period.
I just asked him if he wanted to race since the plenum offers no real HP gains according to him. It really is that simple.

You like to spread your insults everywhere. Why don't you have a strike yet?

Tell you what, I can hear the gears grinding upstairs while you're trying to figure out what I said. Here, let me spell it out.

You're right man. I'll stop playing. See, KY is actually a lot smarter than he comes across over the board. He rags on me, I rag back, he looks bad but, I look bad in the process. That discredits the thread.

He really is smarter than he sounds.

Anyways, I'm done.

I have to ask HFM, why could you not use your own car? I know I would not have given up the opportunity to receive a free product to test on my own car. Unfortunately around here the only Dynos are engine Dynos and not chassis Dynos, so no luck for me as I doubt anyone would be willing to send me a product knowing that. I just have to wait for the local track to thaw and the 4 feet of snow to melt away before I can see what my latest mods did for me in the 1/4.

HFM, seriously, you have been asking for independent dyno numbers on a Crawford Plenum on a stock car for a long time and even started your own thread on the topic willing to pay someone money. Is that not excessive? I can't remember anyone else on this forum more dramatic about this than yourself. I simply can't understand your intentions and wish you would have declined the free product if you knew you could not even answer your own post.

For those of you trying to decide on a plenum as a mod worth your money, the results posted in this thread do not paint the plenum as a worthless mod, they only restate the point that has always been shown on a heavier modified car that the plenum still increases the power on top to redline. On a stock car the plenum still does its thing on top but there are also some benefits seen a little lower down the RPM range which increases peak HP. This is again shown with 350zdanny's results. The added power closer to redline is truly well worth it. This allows shifts at higher rpms, which translates into a higher rpm after shifting into the next gear. This puts you at a better point in the overall HP curve after shifting, meaning faster overall acceleration. Now couple that with some mods that improve the mid rpm range and you will find out quickly that wider stickier tires are needed to keep traction. Also the fact that equal Air and Fuel mixtures get to all cylinders is only a good thing for the engine. Even if no power was to be had anywhere in the curve that piece of mind is very important as future mods are done and tuning is being performed. This mod, whether Crawford and possibly Kinetix after some further testing, is still one of the first mods I would recommend anyone to purchase if not the first for their stock cars.

zzzya

Amen to that. The Crawford has always been the first mod I'd recommend along with the "Z" tube on a "G". You are a wise man.

I'm crushed.. maybe you shouldn't have looked before you fired last time. I don't see how me or anyone else put words in your mouth for you.

Well there's maturity for you.

1) I'm simply holding you to your original rant... yes rant. You jumped in every thread.. even starting your own thread and disallowed everyone else because it didn't hold up to YOUR standards. Well when you had a chance for your own standards, did you carry through? No. I don't see how your testing is any better or worse then every other plenum dyno posted to date. How YOURS is better then any other to date is certainly not to seen.

2) I'm sure if more people had access to a free plenum, sure there would be more independant comparisons. But do I have access? No. Do I plan on buying a plenum any time soon? No.

Lets remember WHY you do have access to a free plenum.. because you had something up your butt about it and I'm sure Adam and friends simply wanted to stand behind the product in face of someone who was just bent on not believing anyone but themself.

I find it incredibly ironic that you hold the 6.5hp gain of the popcharger like gospel, yet how many 'independant' dynos are there to back that up? You've seen one or two and its gospel? What about all the people that saw little or no gain? Maybe.. just maybe.. your plenum testing could fall under the same situation. Not fact.. just a thought.

We had the JWT Popcharger for over a year.. and no one thought much of it.. all of a sudden in the last 3-4 months everyone thinks its God or something and is PROVEN 6.5hp.

Please.. this whole place is driven by mob mentality.

Zzzya, you're one of the few Crawford loyalists, other than Vandy, that genuinely comes across well. This is for Vandy, you and for Phoenix's signature.

"When you're running the quarter mile and every one hundreths of a second counts, the Crawford plenum is a must have mod - HFM."

Flynnibus, I don't know why you are so concerned about what happened this weekend at a local So. Cal. dyno shop. I don't know if you're just trying to get on my case or are trying to make some point. I frankly don't care and will once again say, do something about it or just shut the hell up.

All of a sudden this is about me??

I could spend the next day counting how many posts YOU injected into threads about the plenum.. unsolicitied.

So all of a sudden.. hfm is god and everyone else is butting in?

Oh.. I'm trembling.... please..

I just want to know if in the future:

1) you plan on validating YOUR dyno results over other people's

2) you plan on continuing to jump into every plenum topic

You seem to have a real knact for focusing on what works for you while ignoring the rest.

I appreciate the time you guys put into this.. but even in your own quest, I don't find this any reason to doubt the 'non-independent' dynos of other crawford installations.

This dyno if posted from anyone other then yourselves would have been discounted by yourself for the same reasons you have discounted others.

I don't see how this has added any closure to your quest.

You've lost it man. This thread has nothing to do with you. You're making it about you everytime you try to make some point about me and I tell you, this isn't your business.

What do you care? Why are you posting on this thread? What interest do you have? What are you trying to prove? Are you just mad I told you to shut the hell up?

If you want to act as a moderator, do it on the forum where you do infact moderate. In the meanwhile, as long as you keep posting stuff that really is, I don't know, commenting about my posts, I'm going to tell you that this is my opinion, I'm entitled to it and if I want to tell you to shut the hell up, I'm entitled to that as well. You don't like it, keep posting and people can decide for themselves.

You're wasting time and energy flynn...he's a 17yr old kid that knows everything and no one else knows a thing.
I've only been here a few months and I've seen more rants with HFM spewing forth nothing but garbage than I care to count.
I'm outta this one..nothing here but ignorance.
Peace out
