I've heard this sound in several z's - all but one brand new. I've also have this sound in my car and I've never beat on it. I'm still in the break in period and have followed Nissan's break-in recommendations to the tee: no hard starts, no floored accelerations in any gear, and no prolonged idling. I'm surprised that no one else here has heard this. I'd like to hear what others have to say...

Why search when other people can search for you?

According to what I've read on the forums, this is not really a big deal. I've heard this on all newer z's, new and used alike. I also have it on my new Nismo but am not concerned about it after reading up on it.

If it's a gargling sound, it's completely normal. Read the thread below. You will find the answer in there along with other helpful information.
