Default hard time restarting the car

If i drive my car for any time frame, then stop and quickly start it again (grocery, ATM, etc) it wont start. If/When it does start it barely sputters to life and makes a LOUD and LONG belt squeek noise... kinda like the serpentine one on a cold start. Furthermore, the starter sounds heathy, it just sits and turns and turns and turns.

I just changed the spark plugs a month ago, stayed OEM NGK's.... it fixed my cyl 2 misfire that had been plaguing me on the highway for awhile, and now this. Other than this issue the car runs excellent, and i even saw some improved gas mileage and throttle response from the new plugs.

Any ideas? (not throwing codes or anything as an fyi)

I have the SAME EXACT problem and it happened to me today. I live in florida as well. very interested to see what people from this website have to say. I am going to take it to the mechanic day after tomorrow and will update if i figure it out before someone here does.

Well mine seems like the battery. I tried to start it today and when i used my car alarm to unlock the car the car wouldnt unlock so more than likely a dead battery. Will keep you posted if anything new comes up. From what i read online it seems like this could be a cause from anything including, fuel pump, spark plugs or faulty key programming.

Bumping this, its not the battery. Cleaned the **** out of the MAF and the sensor, still having the issue. It's going to the mechanic on wednesday. I'm so frustrated at this car, it drives great but there are so many little things that go wrong
